The Day I Failed to Impeach The Prime Minister!

Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad

I had the honour and responsibility, after PAS parliamentarians nodded to my request to move a standing order to get the Prime Minister to be impeached and be referred to the Committee of Privileges for what I consider a downright lie aimed at misleading the August House, when answering the question raised by YB Kubang Kerian.

YB Salahudin Ayub (Kerian Kerian) has asked the Prime Minister on ‘Question for Oral Answers’ on Wednesday, 4 November, 2009, to state when the oil royalty claims by the Kelantan state Government be paid by Petronas. The acrimonious debate first mooted by  Dato’ Husam Musa as an EXCO of the state government of Kelantan has been raging unabated eversince Manik Urai by-election. The Kelantan oil royalty issue continues to take centre-stage amongst PAS’ law-makers especially those from Kelantan in the current debate on the PM’s Maiden Budget.

PAS has always claimed that the Malaysia and Thailand joint development area (JDA) remains part of Kelantan. Kelantan is claiming oil royalty from the Thai-Malaysia joint venture in the JDA, Malaysia-Venture in the CAA and also the gas extraction from the P301. Production in the JDA started in 2004, while the CAA in 1997 and PM301 is expected to start production in 2011. By virtue of the Petroleum Development Act, 1974, signed between Petronas and the various state governments, including Kelantan back in 1975, Kelantan, like Sabah, Sarawah and Terengganu, is deserving of the oil royalty. The contentious issue hence is only in regard to determining the quantum.

If the state of Kelantan do not have the right to the oil royalty then Malaysia too do not have rights to the oil royalty. All the income will go 100% to Thailand.

The government will need to show which state border is Malaysia using for it claim on the economic zone. Unless it is using the border of Putra Jaya which is 650 miles away!!!

Its just plain common sense that the state get the royalty because the Federal Government uses the states border in its claim with Thailand for the oil rights.

This is another testament to - the strong do what they like, the weak endure what they must! Very sickening when the law abiding people's representatives are trying to debate law of jungle with the kangaroos and the foxes in their language!

There's only one solution - throw them out, and the whole bunch of them!!!! smilies/cry.gif

The petroleum is extracted in Kelantan territorial waters, so rightfully the state should receive royalties. More so because it a malay-majority state and the people are poor.

So the malays must now ask themselves whether AMNO/BN and the NEP are actually helping them. The malays must follow the leadership of progressive and wise PAS leaders like Tok Guru, Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, Khalid Samad, Mahfuz, etc, so as not to be misled anymore.

In a civilised advance and modern country, even the Prime Minister can be charged in court for wrong doing or lying. When a Prime Minister cannot be charged in court for a crime, it shows thet there is no equality in that nation. The rich and powerful si oppressing the weak, poor and minority. 1Malysia is only a slogan to pacify the oppressed and poor. A lie. This does not look well in the eyes of the humble world, does not at all deter the hungry vultures from coming for a 'free' meal.

Impeachment for the Prime Minister. Ha, ha ha what a joke. I'm sorry Dr Dzulkefly. I can't help that.

If a person can get away with MURDER which is punishable by death, what chance of getting him impeached??

One must remember we are living in Boleh Land. Impeachment does not exist in Boleh Land, neither does conviction for murder, bribery, adultery, lying, purgory etc etc exist among those who walk the corridors of power.

Mokhzani Mahakhinzir is also currently filtering money from Petronas through big contracts awards ' endorsed ' by his father's ( Mahakutty ), as adviser.

His ' apa nama' father will guide and ' endorse ' him to where the big contracts are because he is still very poor and retarded and needs NEP assistance.

He has many properties to maintain, fleets of cars and a private jet instalments to pay and many compulsory oversea family trips to take and etc ..

NEP boleh ! ! ! ! !

I know this dzul guy when he was in Surrey. He never bothered anyone and has a clear sense of direction.
The trouble is, BN/UMNO does not play by the rules, with all the ruling elites and enforcement agencies backing them. And for this reason, they trample on citizens rights and protect their cronies businesses using sanctity of law/contracts as an excuse not to re-negotiate on lop-sided agreements.
