UMNO has come out with their best ( but desprate, pathetic and unfair ) distraction for all the ills facing them:

1. The economy - low FDIs, price hike, petrol hike,inflation, KLSE performance, impending street demos
2. Altantuya murder - with RPK's SD, it becomes more difficult to defend Najib & government.The truth may come out.
3. Chaos in UMNO - the split and uncertainty with coming UMNO elections and TDM interference.
4. Chaos in BN - crossing over of MPs & possibly losing power, MCA chaos & OKT not standing
5. Corruption - EXCESSIVE corruption and misuse of large government & Petronas funds including after Mach 8 elections.
6. Blunders - PDRM's contract for informatiom & security system to Israelis and their proxies - the states' enemies

UMNO hopes that this distraction will buy them time and stop the advance of Pakatan Rakyaat. With the crookish IGP, AG, TDM etc helping them, UMNO desperately wants to hold on to power by hook or by crook. They do not realise that this will ultimately back fire on them.

Putting DSAI inside will weaken the leadership in PR as the leadership in PR is not well structured and accepted among PR parties. There is no prominent second liner leadership in PR. PR should work immediately on a second liner leadership.

Malaysians, let's stand united and be strong to throw out this corrupt and bankrupt BN government.

For a few hundred thousand dollars of commission sharing, Altantuya's life was blown up. This time, the stake in Anwar's case was much, much higher - its involved the very survival of UMNO and billions upon billions of dollars in gravvy train for themselves and their next 10 generations! Why would anyone be surprised if Anwar's life is in jeopardy?

On hindsight, it may not be a good idea to seek refuge in Turkey Embassy. Malaysia don't care 2 hoots about Malaysia-Turkey diplomatic relationships. Turkey is too weak and insignificant to Malaysia.

UMNO and its lapdog the PDRM can very easily send 2-3 truckloads of FRU and police commandos to bulldoze into the Turkey Embassy to forcibly whisk him into prison. From there Anwar will be at their mercy as "mysterious" things could happen to him!

Anwar should seek refuge in stronger countries like, US or Britain or Australia or Germany. UMNO will think twice to barge into these embassies!

In response to 'Biker' I applaude people like RPK and DASAI who still stick around despite facing the odds and death threats. It is easy to run and hide and wash one's hands over the ugly situation here. But to stay and fight is harder and requires greater strength and courage, something most Malaysians lack. They are willing to stick out their heads, despite the possibility of having them chopped, for the greater good of current and the future generations of Malaysians. We need change for things to be better. If we keep doing the same things we have been doing for the past 50 years we will be getting the same results. If DSAI were to be assassinated as a result of in his attempt to seek justice for the wrongs done to him, Malaysia's reputation as a member of a civilized society is gone. In fact, if it is true then police needs to protect him and his family. That is the least we can expect from the government.

As a civilized society, every citizen in Malaysia is entitled to the protection of personal safety for ourselves and our families. It is our rights to claim fair trial and due process of the laws. This is so basic that even a little child should know. What has become of the Malaysia we know. I am really sad for the rot of this beloved land. Do we need to form private militia for our safety now. If police can not be counted to keep us safe than the parliament must pass a law to allow citizens to form their own militia.
