This RPK affidavit is an instant bombshell that has once again riveted unwelcome attention on Najib who has so far remained untouched by the police or the court despite numerous accusations of his involvement.

Kim Quek, MALAYSIAKINI

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s outright denial of Raja Petra Kamarudin’s explosive revelation linking Najib Razak and his wife to the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder appears to signal another concerted effort to shield his deputy from due legal process.

MCPX
Renowned blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) lodged a statutory declaration on June 18 declaring that he had been reliably informed that

  • Najib’s wife Rosmah Mansor was among three other persons who were present at the murder scene. The other two are acting colonel Aziz Buyong (then Lt Col, a C4 explosive expert - who placed the C4 on various parts of Altantuya’s body - and Aziz’s wife Norhayati (who is Rosmah’s bodyguard).

  • PM Abdullah had received a written military intelligence report giving these details and he had handed over this report to his son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin, for safe keeping.

  • One of the rulers, whom RPK knows, had been briefed of this matter.

This RPK affidavit is an instant bombshell that has once again riveted unwelcome attention on Najib who has so far remained untouched by the police or the court despite numerous accusations of his involvement.

These accusations spring from the fact that all the three accused are closely linked to him - the first two (for the killing) being his bodyguards and the third (for abetting) being his confidante.  Suspicions of involvement beyond the three accused were further fueled by the fact that the first two accused had no apparent motive for the killing while the third had neither personal knowledge nor authority over the first two.

raja petra court case 060508 stumpedAnd RPK is no ordinary blogger. He enjoys very high standing among Malaysians, both for his heroic and righteous activism and for his many insightful revelations of political maneuvers and scandals among those in the corridors of power. Doubtless, none would fancy a solid personage like RPK would stick his neck out in such reckless fashion unless he is supremely confident of what he has been buttressed with.

And this is verified by the fact that one week after the bombshell that must have shaken the top hierarchy of the ruling coalition, none has approached RPK despite repeated sabre-rattling by the various law enforcers warning of serious consequences to RPK.

True to the government’s tradition of hounding the whistleblower instead of the culprit, the attorney-general promptly lodged a report on June 18 to the police, which has begun investigating RPK under Section 203 of the Penal Code for spreading false information, which is punishable with two years of imprisonment.

While ostentatiously promising full investigation of the persons named in the affidavit as well as RPK, the AG warned in the same breath that such allegations could be “highly-defamatory” and the police also insinuated that the affidavit could be “subjudice”. The law enforcers’ intent not to accord just treatment to RPK’s revelation could hardly be concealed.

Unanswered questions

And now, before even RPK was interviewed by the police, PM Abdullah declared that Najib and his wife are innocent.

najib and rosmah 250608 02Isn’t the prime minister pre-empting and prejudicing a crucial investigation over an important new lead from a creditable source on a high-profile judicial case which has already been much criticised for its numerous and serious irregularities?

By his premature declaration of innocence, isn’t the prime minister reinforcing skepticism widely held at home and abroad that justice has not been served, thus subjecting the country to increasing risk of international ridicule and conflict?

How does the prime minister know that RPK’s allegation against Rosmah is untrue without the source of information being looked at (meaning querying RPK)?

If the allegation is false, shouldn’t Najib and Rosmah have been duty bound to the nation to make the denial in the first instant?

Why have the police been pushing off its interview of RPK for so long? Shouldn’t the AG and the police have jumped at the first opportunity to find out from RPK what precious information he has, if the former are really dedicated to seek truth and serve justice? Or are the police busy preparing the groundwork to gain maximum vantage before it confronts RPK?

The pattern of conduct displayed by the prime minister down to the AG and the inspector general of police in response to the challenge posed by the RPK affidavit is consistent with one to forsake truth and justice in favour of political expediency, even when the latter is immoral.

Since the political tsunami ushered in by the landmark March 8 election, the prime minister has made a big demonstration of his resolve to bring judicial reforms, but a little incident like the RPK affidavit has just indicated to us that when the polity is already corrupted to the core such as what we have now, it is wishful thinking that any meaningful reform is possible – not to mention judicial reforms.

I agree with some commentators that, while Raja Petra can sometimes make startling revelations, he is no fool. He knows what he is doing.

The delayed response raised questions. But the unanswered questions lingering for more than 1 yr are: (1) Deletion of immigration records and (2) availability of controlled explosives inthe open market. For these two issues, any PM would be mad and angry and would demand a report. What about these reports?

Great analysis and commentary
There are just too many UNanswered questions.
Right minded malaysians can only conclude one thing when there are so many uncertainties and loopholes as pointed out.
Kim Quek quoted "If the allegation is false, shouldn’t Najib and Rosmah have been duty bound to the nation to make the denial in the first instant?"
This only tells me he needs PM to give the go ahead before he makes his stand.
Same goes with his SIL - KJ
It all points to something being hidden away by the PM
What else can we say when we have such qualities of our PM being demonstrated and shown daily by the MSM and specifically highlighted on the net.

That's would be exactly what would be on any right thinking mind. These are serious accusations and there would be absolutely no chance of those mentioned in RPK's SD not being aware of it until now.

It's like giving the impression that those mentioned in RPK's SD are taking the time to cook up some collaborating story to tell.

Something smells really fishy with the Najis and Co.

Day 4 the AG said RPK's SD is defamatory & made a police report!
Day 5 the PM declared C4 & Dolly are innocent!
Day 6 C4 said RPK is a liar & this SD is garbage!
Day 6 sil said he did not receive any Intelligence Report!
Still no words from the other 2 accused.

So my question is isn't this accusation very serious that demand IMMEDIATE response from the accused parties and why the flood of responses immediately after the PM pronounced not guilty on his deputy & wife? Is there a coordination here so as to cover each other up? Also, we are still waiting for the accused parties to take RPK to court so that everyone can have their say, certainly not through PDRM. As for the nitwit AG who the hell are you to say that RPK's SD is defamatory & your police report is way out of line?

RPK would never have lodged the SD if he is not 100% sure of the facts. Too much is at stake. I would choose to believe RPK anytime over FlipFlop Badawi, Najis, Ros-man or Khairy. These people have a lot to lose if the truth is revealed. Judgement Day will be on the murderers and accomplices in hiding the truth.

RPK has sacrified tremendously fighting for a Just and Fair Malaysia.

This time, a human life, a foreigner, has been inhumanely murdered (in other words, body BLOWN UP to bits. Two motherless children and a family in grief over this unresolved murder crying out for justice.

The eyes of the international community is on Malaysia. Malaysians have a duty to make sure justice is served in this instance if not at every instance. Can Malaysians deliver the Truth with fear or favour?

If PM Badawi and the rest of his 'gangs' are so sure of Najib's and Rosnah's claim of innocence, then they should take the next appropriate action, sue RPK in court for his alleged blasphemy.

Wouldn't we all love to see evidences of this entralling murder mystery unfold in court? Well, if not all, I certainly do!

You are right on Kim Quek , this raises more questions than answers :

In the first place YM RPK is not a stupid man .He should and would have known what their moves are going to be , like in a chinese chess or international chess .

RPK would have anticipated that with his expose in the SD , they would definetly and outrightly deny their involvement . And true to prediction they did just that .
Now they are in a delima ,what to do next , the only logical move is to sue for defamation cause RPK is already charged under sedition . To charge RPK again under sedition would be very dangerous for them . They are also not sure whether RPK has the proofs and evidence or not . One bad move and if RPK were to produce the evidence , that it they are finish .
As I mention earlier , I am 100 percent sure YM RPK knows what he is doing in this game of high stakes chess . The game is to lure the opponent into the hole or in this case his anticipated moves .
RPK is one hell of a war games specialists . He started his moves quite sometime ago starting with the article on "Lets send The Altantuya Murderers To Hell" , then came the dislosure in an article that the Big Fat Mama rang up the Sultan of Selangor and told off the Sultan regarding the article Lets send The Altantuya Murderers To Hell , that RPK wrote .
Having done that the next article that was posted is "What are the chances of………?" Inside this article is a curios item headline ; 0.75% chance Najib will become the next Prime Minister .With it comes this explanation : Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says that the only way Najib Tun Razak will be able to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia would be if he divorces his wife, Rosmah Mansor .
You know lah RPK's way of writing , he doesn't come straight to the thing or issue that he wants to say .He'll write all sorts of supporting issues and includes that item in to make it look that it is part of his article .
And now this article " Rosmah at murder scene ". before RPK nails them .

If you look at it , and knowing very well that there will be denials and that they are bound to take action which RPK is aware , definetly RPK DOES have a TRUMP CARD and I think I know what it is . It is not only the photo , or maybe the report or the evidence , its something else but I am not commenting . If I am right I'll be spoiling his RPK's game .
Right on PETE , the Chinese has a proverb , you are holding the handle of the knife or in this case the parang . They are holding the blade section .

Why no immediate response from them?
There must have been some emergency meetings of all parties - PM, DPM, IGP, AG and perhaps Khairy - to plan out an escape route and who says what and when.
If not there will be conflicts and contradictions in their statements which would expose them even more.
Remember how they lied about the use of the indelible ink?
But then what else can they say then to deny and deny and deny? They just gave the anticipated answers.
No fool is going to admit to any of those allegations in RPK's SD.

No bull, no sweeping under the carpet, no heavy handed statements that we are supposed to swallow as the truth. Malaysia is like HongKong in the 1950s where the corrupted and despotic Police force and judiciary was finally rid off and an independent ICAC was established to oversee corruption at all levels of government. This ICAC was answerable to the legislative council which in turn is answerable to the British Parliament. Since Malaysia is an independent country I think it is time that an independent ICAC should be established and answerable to the parliament and not to a political party. Corruption is always disguised as Ketuanan Melayu. It is true that all the corrupted UMNO members are Malays (some claimed to be) but not all Malays are corrupted. It is time that the Malays themselves clean the house. Minorities cannot do it.

RPK SD challenge is "Mt Everest" erupted. The greatest firework ever seen by Malaysians and the indicated are wrapped inside a protective cocoon.
RPK is the grand master & the indicated are refugees. This epoch will bring significant conclusion, but sadden the people as to why the most voted head of
government 4 years ago had betrayed its people today.
Sorrow turns to sufferings and hardship. The children future upside down.
Anger turns to hero's life sacrifices on the "plate".
An insatiable appetite for power and fiscal gains will destroy us like the unstoppable fire in the forest. RPK SD will stop the fire.
Do you realise where we are heading to?

As usual, useless govt "reacted" with reply only after a few good days have passed. Retarded freaks we have as ministers. If the whole bunch is squeaky clean, honest, capable, efficient, trustworthy, credible, etc. they can respond spontaneously, instantly. The fact remained, they have to "figure out long & hard" & "calculate" what to say to the msm. Adoi, pathetic, tak malu. Can the govt explain why the Immig records were erased? Got something to hide, obviously.
