Yang Berhormat Dato’ Bung Mokhtar Radin (Ahli Parlimen Kinabatangan) telah bertanya dalam Dewan Rakyat berkenaan 1000 lebih bas milik Rapid KL yang tersadai dan tidak diguna.

Bas-bas ini dikatakan asalnya milik Intrakota dan City Liner yang telah diambilalih oleh Rapid KL yang dipercayai adalah milik Khazanah. Bas-bas ini masih boleh diguna atau boleh diperbaiki dan dijual oleh Rapid KL. 

Tetapi Rapid KL tidak berusaha bersungguh-sungguh untuk mendapat balik sedikit pun daripada kos pembelian syarikat-syarikat ini. 

Kenapa?

Apakah Rapid KL begitu untung dan boleh tanggung rugi yang tidak kecil daripada menjadikan bas-bas yang dibeli olehnya sebagai besi buruk? 

Rapid KL terkenal dengan jumlah besar bas baru yang dimilikinya. Umum tahu yang bas-bas ini kerap kosong. Oleh kerana ia adalah GLC dan melibatkan wang rakyat sepatutnya untung-ruginya diumumkan kepada orang ramai. Tetapi kita tidak pernah melihat kira-kira untung ruginya. Untung besarkah RapidKL dan Khazanah?

Kita bangga dengan design bas-bas yang dimiliki oleh Rapid KL. Ia amat moden. Saya ingin tahu siapakah yang membekal bas-bas ini. Saya percaya pembekal bas-bas ini meraih keuntungan yang besar kerana begitu banyak bas yang jelas dibeli oleh Rapid KL. Mungkinkah pelupusan dan write-off begitu banyak bas-bas lama adalah supaya bas baru dapat dibeli daripada pembekal tertentu? Jika ya, nampaknya Rapid KL diadakan untuk menguntungkan pembekal. Apakah adanya Rapid-Penang juga tidak mempunyai tujuan yang sama?

Apakah benar pembekal bas Rapid KL dan Rapid Penang ialah M-Trans yang dimiliki 100% oleh Scomi yang dimiliki oleh sipolan-sipolan yang mempunyai talian kekeluargaan dengan pemimpin besar negara? 

Katanya pesanan untuk bas baru oleh Rapid KL adalah begitu banyak sehingga Scomi tidak dapat membinanya. Oleh itu Scomi dibenar import bas dari China. Apakah harga import dan harga jualan kepada Rapid KL? Apakah syarikat lain dibenar import bas baru dari luar negeri? Apakah duti import yang dibayar?

Disiarkan gambar-gambar Scomi Coach Sdn Bhd (dahulu dikenali sebagai M-Trans Sdn Bhd) yang berada di tempat yang sama dengan Scomi Rail Bhd (dahulu dikenali sebagai M-Trans Technology Sdn Bhd)

Even I do not like TDM personally over his dictator attitude but sometimes I salute TDM over his comments and it is better for him to join opposition.

The country is under the extinction under the sleephead and blood sucker AAB.

The case in RapidKL has shown how the UMNO has wasted so much money.

1000 buses could virtually bring up the transportation in KL and Malaysia if managed well, not just dumped in desert.

Any ACA looking into it? I doubt so as may be 100 buses belongs to them too.

No SEDITION OK!!! Our gomen is the most corrupted in Asia, if not could match few of worst corrupted neighbouring countries.

As far as TDM concerned.He is right because Pak lah is practising croniysm which partly learned from him too. The problem now is that why TDM exposing Pak lah's son companies to public because TDM is no longer share the BIG cakes. No matter how, I should say thank you to TDM for sharing with us. Pls dig more for public awareness TDM.

This is interesting. please divulge more. let the rakyaat know everything. Than anyone who tries to be corrupt will think twice. Anyone associated with the corrupt will shy away. Corruption will reduce. This is healthy. Please go on. Change Malaysia. Everyone's input in this manner will make OUR malaysia better. At last I feel a bit happy.

Akibat Sifat Tamak Kroni2 BN?

Pada seketika dulu ada beberapa sykt2 bas di Lembah Kelang yg ditubuhkan lebih 50-60 tahun seperti Tong Fong, Ho Hup, Sri Jaya, KL- Klang, Len Chi, Len Seng & lain2 telah dipaksa tutup operasi dgn alasan sykt2 yg kecil yg tiada kuasa/modal utk bersaing dan kerajaan BN pada masa itu menuntut satu penyeragaman pengangkutan awam.

Pada awal 90an kroni2 BN iaitu Park May (anak syarikat Renong/UEM) mengambil alih kesemua sistem kenderaan di Lembah Kelang dan membeli bas2 yg mahal demi utk membuktikan mereka amat gagah utk mengambil alih kesemua operasi yg sebelum ini dijalankan oleh sykt2 bas yg tersbut diatas.

Apa sudah jadi dgn Park May? Mereka sebenarnya tidak mempunyai kepakaran/ pengalaman utk mengendalikan operasi sistem kenderaan awam. Kos operasi tinggi serta sistem pengurusan yg tidak cekap memaksa mereka tutup kedai. Bas2 dijual kepada RapidKL sebagai besi buruk demi utk mengurangkan kerugian yg ditanggung.

Ekoran dari masaalah Park May, kerajaan telah menubuhkan RapidKL demi utk menyelesaikan masaalah pengangkutan awam di Lembah Kelang yg kritikal ketika itu. Kenapa RapidKL tidak membaik pulih bas2 yg dibeli walaupun bas2 tersebut hanya berumur kurang dari 6 tahun? Persoalan utama kenapa bas2 tersebut dibeli sekiranya ianya tidak dapat dibaik pulih?

Betul juga kata Moktar Radin. Buat apa nak repair sedangkan M-Tran boleh buat duit juta2 Ringgit dari tender bas2 baru.

Begini lah kerajaan BN membazir wang rakyat... Banyak sekali pengelewengan berlaku demi utk menyelamatkan kroni2 BN. Mereka selama ini kebal dari sagala kesalahan kerana mereka sentiasa dilindungi oleh akta2 zalim seperti OSA, ISA, Sedition Act & lain2.

Banyak penyelewengan2 yg diketahui oleh pemimpin2 BN. Mereka tutup mulut sebab byk orang/individu2 yg terlibat bersama.

Mereka lalai kepada Allah.... Di zaman Jahilliyah org sembah BERHALA & diakhir zaman org sembah HARTA

Bagi mereka ini semua sudah biasa dlm kerajaan BN sebab boleh dikatakan penyelewengan berlaku setiap hari & setiap detik. Semua pemimpin BN dari caw/ bahagian/ pusat mereka tahu pekong masing2

1,000 buses left to rot by Rapid KL.

In the meantime more new buses are being bought.

Why, someone has a cut in the purchase of the new buses.

If we go on like this, our country is in the RAPID route to ruin.

BTW, a lot of Rapid's buses are running on empty (with little passengers). Rapid uses one size fit them all big busese so during off peak hours, the huge buses still have to run, eventhough there is only 2 pasengers in the bus.

BungBung should touch on matters on his constituency... e.g poverty and public transport in kinabatangan. RapidKL is not his concern.

The bus operators in KL have been RAPIDLY changing hands, from one sucker to another, oiled by the corrupted gomen. Each operator sucks up billions of dollar in the name is improving the public transport system every few years, before another sucker takes over, and the cycle will repeat.

How many times have we heard "to improve the public transport system"?
From Park May, Cityliner, Rapid KL, to LRTs, Monorails, KL Sentral, BILLION$$$ & BILLION$$$ GONE TO CRONIES & THIVES.

Stop crying over spilt milk.Why be up in arm against the past.Does killing Saddam and Hitler over and over in our mind going to change the present?Do not harp on DrM now[we could have done that when he was PM]Stop the bleeding now and not waste preciouse time debating how the bleeding start in the first place.The nation[rakyat] is now in ICU and need immediate blood transfusion.Umno must be removed immediately.Waiting for the next GE and wallowing on past with DrM and gang is futile and stupid.Only way out is for the people to take back control of their own power makkal shakti.The fate is in our hand and stop giving excuses.PR should meet the problem with actions they can do and not harp on actions that bn does not do.

Improving public transport by BN govt-means improving cronies purse. To end it-simple put an end to their rule. Those silly BN cabinet ministers and their pecacai more like leeches, their existence means to suck us the rakyat dry.

It was no different under Maha Thief. The modus operandi is for the "privatised entity" to operate without capital provisions until the rolling stock (LRT, buses or planes) is worn out, then ask for more money or rescue.

Each time our national leaders mentioned about improving anything, huge amounts of rakyat's ringgit will flow into somebody's deep pockets.
It happened so often. Having spent those billions but there is hardly any improvement to show.
Our gomen is really a penyayang... but only to the cronies.

Politics aside, I was also horrified to see the graveyard of RapidKL buses. This is along the old trunk road to the north from KL, somewhere near Serendah. And it's dumped in this lot that is just besides the trunk road, in plain view for all to see. It is also my first and immediate thought ... i.e. why the heck did they not try to repair those buses? Or at least salvage some via cannibalising some parts, etc. It is a huge waste of resources. And at a time when we (the whole world, in fact) are talking about Recycling, Reusing, and greening the environment.

I don't care about the politics behind the whole thing, but just dumping the buses there is sheer waste, bordering on criminal.

Yoh, what about Tongkah, MISC, Air Asia, Perwaja, Pantai etc etc. owned by Det's cronies and son when he was in power? Why not talk about that? Even worse, public funds were use to bail them out during the 98 crisis We are talking of tens of billions here..

Come on Det, compare to the business owned by Dollah and Co, yours is much worse.

The fish head has already got rotten during the 22 years of TDM rule. Just because BN was voted by the Rakyat, TDM assume complete power to be become Maha Firaun and no one should question him or his policies... Most of the projects like Rapid KL were started under his rule....buggeroo
