You dont need foreigners to sell off this country.....that job can be done quite efficiently by the natives themselves......

That would be great, wouldn't it? The hundreds of thousands of Johoreans who commute to work in the little red dot everyday will not have to queue up for hours and smell the exhaust each way. They will qualify for HDB flats and live south of the causeway. They will immediately become citizens of a first world country. What a great idea. How fortunate for those Johoreans.

Quick harrbm, please help them to find such letters. I just can't wait...

hey TWOG,

Good news ! ! !

Johoreans are helping Singapore to locate those letters. I heard some letters have been found. Hundreds of thousand of Johoreans may claimed Singapore citizenships. Malaysians on other states are crazily doing the same now !

Bad news for Singapore huh?

The act of selling Batu Puteh, if it's true according to this article, is truly seditious!

Tahniah kerana membongkarkan kelalaian bangsa kita sendiri.. Parti pemerintah patut berusaha meyakinkan ICJ bahawa pulau batu puteh milik Malaysia.. Mereka anggap ini kurang penting kot?? Leka dengan poket masing-masing hingga tanah dan maruah bangsa tergadai.. Gerammmmnyeee... Teruskan membongkar...

Trust me. With this nation controlled by Indons and a Indian who pretend to be Malays, they would even sell their own mothers for a profit.

Verdict is 15-1 for Singapore.
Two of the judges picked by Malaysia and two Singapore.
Even the judge picked by Malaysia voted for Singapore.
So, how to win ?

Aiyah this is tidak apa attitude so easy to give away control of territory. Learn from China only give lease which allow them to get their land back after they build it up for China.

Wrong lah, taishan.
15-1 is in favour of Malaysia for Middle Rocks
12-4 is in favour of Singapore for Pedra Branca

"In a letter dated 21 September 1953, the Acting State Secretary of Johor replied that the “Johore Government [did] not claim ownership” of the island."

Our CJ (if he is there) and AG (if he is not busy attending the Hindraf trial or other petty domestic issues), should have gone to length to study the legality of the letter ie; Is the "Acting State Secretary" really representing the Sultan of Johore? Sovereignty only recognize signatures from the Sultan (King), not from a mere "Acting" Executive.

"..the absence of reaction from Malaysia to the flying of the Singapore ensign on the island, the installation by Singapore of military communications equipment on the island in 1977, and the proposed reclamation plans by Singapore to extend the island, as well as a few specific publications and maps"

Now we know the government has actually been asleep since 1977. 50 years of BN rule... going down the drain... Now the Rakyat know why "Everyone Can Fly into Bodohland" and built squatters and eventually become citizen which land title.

Singapore will never claim things that never belongs to them. They will fight for it if its belongs to them. In Malaysia they lost their history, just like Hang Tuah case in text books.

Maybe now our neighbours are looking for letters issued by our Malaysian state secretaries that Penang has been given to Indonesia or even Thailand. Or Langkawi has been given to Thailand. Maybe even the whole of Peninsular has been handed over to Thailand or Indonesia!

On a more sombre note, we cannot fault that Johore State secretary completely, for he must been instructed by the then colonial masters to write that letter. Perhaps the then Sultan should also be held responsible, for the letter must have been issued with his consent!!

Frankly, our Government servants are so inefficient that I am sure they can't find a copy of this letter. Maybe they have destroyed all files more than 20 years old!

Without any letter, our half past six government has already surrender our right to demolish part of the Johor causeway well within our territory. So I won't be surprise if there is more in store if we continue to let them govern us.

Why didn't they invite Fairuz and that other CJ(went to NZ on holiday)to be part of the team of judges. And Gani Patail as one of the Malaysian lawyers. Things might have turned out differently!!!!

Aiyah, our Malaysian defence team forgot that UMNO does not control the ICJ judges!!
