Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi berkata beliau yang mengarahkan Setiausaha Agung Umno Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor untuk membuat aduan polis mengenai kenyataan pengerusi DAP Karpal Singh mempertikaikan kuasa Sultan.

Perdana Menteri berkata ini akan membolehkan perkara itu dibawa ke perhatian Peguam Negara dan seterusnya ke mahkamah.

Kenyataan Karpal Singh telah menimbulkan kemarahan ramai orang termasuk bukan Melayu, katanya.

"Ia berupa hasutan dan dilihat rakyat sebagai menghina Sultan seolah-olah dia (Sultan) tidak tahu tugasnya. Itulah (yang) jadi gambaran," katanya kepada pemberita mengenai tindakan Tengku Adnan membuat laporan polis terhadap Karpal Singh petang ini.

Abdullah sebelum itu merasmikan Pameran Perdagangan Halal Antarabangsa Malaysia Kelima di sini hari ini, Khamis.
  
Abdullah berkata beliau difahamkan ramai lagi akan membuat aduan polis kerana orang Melayu dan kaum lain rasa tersinggung dan marah dengan tindakan Karpal Singh itu.

Mengenai kes pengendali dan penulis portal Malaysia Today, Raja Petra Kamaruddin, Perdana Menteri berkata sesiapa yang menyalahi atau melanggar undang-undang, tentunya ada tindakan terhadap mereka.

"Bila ada aduan maka tindakan akan diambil. Kalau salah, kena hadapi tindakan," katanya kerana negara mempunyai undang-undang yang perlu dipatuhi oleh setiap orang.
Mengenai kenyataan Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz di Parlimen hari ini bahawa kerajaan tidak akan menggubal undang-undang mengenai "whistle blowers" (pemberi maklumat), Abdullah berkata pada waktu ini kerajaan belum lagi membuat cadangan tertentu mengenai perkara itu.

Problem with AAB & Amenos

They will always want to find faults in others, they do not look at themselves and their own faults with honesty. They let their ego to rule to pin others, they value anger & hate more than others.

They are unaware that things that harm men in this world and in the next are due to their vices. The essence of men’s spiritual losses are their having vices.

They have to eliminate the junk out from their mind, then only the truth comes in.

Amenos will definitely has to be replaced by another team of Law makers to ensure the safety & justice of rakyat and for the country to progress.

The problem with PM's action is not that he is doing it but that HE HAS NO REAL CONVICTION OF HIS ACTION. 1) Why don't he file a police report himself as head of UMNO? 2) He can't name those others who are filing reports. 3) His comments are generalities and opinion on what he says its important matter and yet he has no real insight meaning he treats it frivolously filing a police report on this.

When a PM has to resort to publicity-seeking and NOT concentrate on issues of real conviction, we are looking at what Karpal Singh says as a weak PM...

How come no one sees PM's actions to lantik his own MB Terengganu without Sultan's approval as non seditious? It's in direct conflict with the Sultan's wishes but why BN goons never make police report on that? The PM has disappointed me, for one. Used to think that he was an old style Malay gentleman. Looks like I was wrong. Firstly, he's not consistent in what he's doing. What about the UMNO members in Terengganu who hung up a banner calling the Terengganu Sultan a derogatory name ? Surely that was cause for a seditious charge ? If i remember correctly, our so call PM made the same remark when Terengganu royalty does not approve pm's choise of menteri besar. The remark was carried on front page of every mainstream newspaper. may we all should lodge a police report against our current PM. shall we line up infront of police station?

guys, AAB is being adviced to play politics to bring back the malays to UMNO. As the norm the malays will always choose the sultans rather then their leaders in UMNO. The best political mileage and strategy is for AAB and UMNO, as well as BN, to align themselves to the Istanas. But in the case of karpal singh statement, the MP was merely quoting legal cases on the division of responsibi;ity and powers of the several administrative branches of the government. So its the BN bankrupt of ideas that seek to exaggerate the situation. Karpal on his part has played into the BN objective to show that DAP is anti sultan and therefore anti malay.
