The Altantuya Shaaribu case is well known. It is clear the case is "dragging on, and being deliberately delayed.. Ask some questions here, and remember that all, irrespective of how they are disliked or despised are innocent until proven guilty.

Guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. Justice applies towards Najib Tun Razak, Rosmah Mansor, and Razak Baginda, just as it does towards Altantuya Shaaribu. It applies to Raja Petra as well. Using rude epithets such as "Najis"and “Mamak” will only serve to discredit our community as being uncouth and irrational, however entertaining they may appear at the time. Thats the game of the enemy, do not play into their hands.


Unsavoury allegations have been made against Najib Tun Razak and Rosmah Mansoor. I keep an open mind on these. I won't repeat them here. Womanising and a fondness for high fashion seem to the talk of the chattering classes, but I am not holier than thou. I am not qualified, after all..."Let he without sin, cast the first stone”, and the authorities love catching the small people, but never mind the big hats.

It was only a matter of time before RPK got arrested. It was brave, and I'm going to be pessimistic, judging by past performance, and say that R.P.K has misjudged, because they can, and will use all measures in their rulebook, and will use them as, and when they wish. There is a lot of inappropriate legislation "conveniently" retained on the statute books from the era of the Communist Insurgency. There are also constitutional amendments, over 600 in total since 1957 designed to supress the questioning of the status quo.

In the meantime, just be careful, but I am sure RPK knows their game and their modus operandi. The RPDM are discredited and the public do not have confidence in them, never mind respect. We do see the comical looking ones, with the standard uniform of curry belly and moustache. Thats the public "face". Thats the "Boleh Selesai" bunch. In the background, in Bukit Aman, there is the mafia. They will stop at nothing to do the bidding of their lords and masters. When millions of ringgit are at stake, and their salaries are low, they are pawns in the hands of an evil master.

I am truly glad that RPK has decided to post bail. I was worried yesterday when I read that he has refused to see anyone including his wife.

RPK, I think you will be more effective to drive home your point outside of jail. These people are not likely to relent. Remember C4 was used? If they can go to such lengths, can you imagine how far they can go if you remain in prison?

Your wife and family has suffered greatly. I know they understand and support your cause. But they are also human and it is not fair to put them through those pain and suffering. Especially your 16 year old daughter. When I read this I looked at my 17 year old daughter and I could feel the pain of your family.

Is the vigil at Dataran Merdeka on? I live in Shah Alam and will start for KL soon on bus.

If its on, muslimats are welcomed to join me at the Masjid Jamek for Maghrib prayers, insyaAllah we can recite the Yaasin together (malam Jumaat and everything) for Allah to continue to bestow us with his blessings.

Raja Petra: Bail posted, release tomorrow

breaking news Malaysia Today news portal webmaster Raja Petra Kamarudin has agreed to post bail after meeting his wife Marina Lee Abdullah at the Sungai Buloh prison this morning.
Following this, just after the lunch-hour break, Marina, with the help of Raja Petra's lawyer J Chandra posted bail at the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court.

Chandra however said that although the bail money has been paid to the court, it would be only tomorrow before Raja Petra was allowed to leave the Sungai Buloh prison.

"Bail release takes 24 hours. Judge Normala Salleh won't make any exception in our case," he told reporters after meeting the judge in chambers.
He added that Raja Petra could be released anytime after 9am tomorrow.

This morning I received confirmation from MT that I've been officially registered and I can now write my 1st ever web comment (or is it call blog?)...here goes..Imagine...1 person (RPK, of course-la) can cause a chain reaction(us-la) to change gomen (they-la). I, 1 person, pledge to do the following until RPK is free from persecution and injustice:
(1)I will wear a yellow ribbon everyday to signify my support for RPK.
(one can also wear a yellow shirt/dress, wrist-band,cap etc).Did you noticed
the color of RPK's shirt when "they" put "The One" in jailed.Also, 1 yellow
ribbon on my car ( trees, lamp post, any place you can think off).
(1)I pledge to recruit 1 (at least)new registered user per week onto MT.
(Imagine..if every registered users of MT does this....imagine..the
multiplying effect).
(1)I pledge to go to 1 shopping mall during weekend to distribute yellow
ribbons.

Saya menerima berita mengenai nasib tuan yang dituduh dibawah Akta Hasutan 1948 dan kini ditahan reman dalam penjara Sg. Buloh sehingga kes disebut di mahkamah pada 6 Oktober 2008 dengan penuh kesedihan.

Bagaimanapun, jauh di hati saya, saya masih terasa kagum kerana di sana masih ada seorang sehebat tuan yang cekal mempertahankan apa yang difikirkan benar.

Prinsip ini cukup selaras dengan dasar anutan Agama Islam kita yang sentiasa bertunjangkan amar makruf nahi mungkar.

Ia kebetulan disebut juga oleh demokrasi dan turut diperuntukkan di dalam perlembagaan kita di bawah perkara kebebasan bersuara dan menyatakan pendapat.

Soal bersalah atau sebaliknya; maka terlanjur tuan telah dituduh di bawah Akta Hasutan, maka ia terpulanglah kepada proses keadilan di mahkamah yang selanjutnya.

Sewaktu Nabi Allah Yusuf 'alaihissalam dikurung oleh pihak berkuasa di zamannya kerana fitnah, Yusuf berkata, "wahai Tuhanku, penjara lebih aku sukai daripada memenuhi ajakan mereka kepadaku. Dan jika tidak Engkau hindarkan daripadaku tipu daya mereka, tentu aku akan cenderung untuk (memenuhi keinginan mereka) dan tentulah aku termasuk orang-orang yang bodoh."

Lantaran istiqomah Nabi Yusuf itu, Allah maqbulkan doa baginda lalu "menghindar Yusuf dari tipu daya mereka. Sesungguhnya, Dialah Yang Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui." (Petikan dari Surah Yusuf Ayat 33 dan 34).

Selaras dengan perkembangan ini, izinkan saya turut bersama mendoakan tuan agar sentiasa dipelihara kesihatan dan keselamatan oleh Allah SWT.

Semoga yang benar itu akan terserlah jua walaupun harganya adalah pengorbanan. Selagi tuan benar dan kita semua benar di sisi Allah SWT, tuan dan kita pada amnya tidak perlu merasa khuatir.

Yesterday I cried when I saw RPK being handcuffed. Earlier today I choked to tears in front of the computer when I read about his hunger strike. I don’t know what more to say. I feel so sad. I breathe a sigh of relief hearing that RPK will accept bail. Prison environment will not be good for our hero. He needs to feel the fresh air of freedom every morning to keep on fighting and he will need to keep abreast with all the comings and goings within the political context of the country.
Besides, his family needs him close, Puan Marina especially and all his children need their husband and father at home.

It is such a pity that he has to go through all this disruption simply for speaking out. While those in power go scot free doing bigger crime, RPK and other bloggers were detained for lesser crime. I am speechless. It’s insane !..
