(Harakah) - Suasana Parlimen hari ini 'panas' dengan 'pertikaman lidah' dan ketidakpuasan hati antara dua ahli Parlimen daripada bukan parti kerajaan iaitu Karpal Singh (DAP-Gelugor) dan Ibrahim Ali (Bebas-Pasir Mas) yang masing-masing mempertahankan hujah mereka.

Karpal pada sesi awal perbahasan meminta Speaker Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia bagi menjelaskan kedudukan Ibrahim Ali di dewan sama ada merupakan ahli parlimen bebas memandangkan sebelum ini beliau bertanding atas tiket PAS.

Kenyataan itu menimbulkan ketidakpuasan hati kepada Ibrahim yang kemudiannya mencelah dan menyelar sikap Karpal yang tidak menghormati Parlimen.

Katanya, ketika sesi perbahasan dijalankan, beliau mempersoalkan kewajaran Karpal yang tidak meminta kebenaran dewan yang mulia untuk duduk sewaktu berhujah.

Umum mengetahui bahawa Karpal hanya berkerusi roda serta tidak boleh berdiri dan hanya duduk ketika menyampaikan hujah atau mengemuka soalan.

'Serangan' Ibrahim kemudiannya mengundang kemarahan sebilangan besar ahli parlimen khususnya daripada DAP yang meminta Ibrahim menarik balik kata-katanya itu kerana membawa maksud menghina.

"Beliau kena tarik balik kerana telah menghina Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU),"kata Ahli Parlimen Fong Po Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah).

Azmin Ali (KeADILan-Gombak) juga turut kesal dan menggesa supaya ahli parlimen tidak mengeluarkan kenyataan atau hujah yang tidak menunjukkan sikap dan kenyataan sebenar seorang ahli parlimen (unparliamentary remarks).

"Ala... Yang Berhormat pun biasa hina orang, sesekali kena hina apa salahnya," kata Ibrahim Ali membalas.

Dalam pada itu Menteri Penerangan, Dato' Ahmad Shabery Cheek dilaporkan kecewa dengan sikap ahli parlimen yang ditunjukkan pada hari ini memandangkan sesi 30 minit pertama telah ditayangkan secara langsung oleh RTM ke seluruh negara.

"Saya sangat kecewa...," kata Shabery yang menganggap seolah-olah siaran langsung ini 'disalahgunakan' oleh para Ahli Parlimen.

Menteri Penerangan, Dato' Ahmad Shabery Cheek,

Let me tell you this in simple English. It is OUR PARLIAMENT, not yours, therefore the people who elected their Members of the Parliament has every right to watch their elected representative in action, standing up for (or insulting) them, which ever they choose.

You not only should continue the 1/2 hour live segment, but also work towards increasing the coverage. Failure to do so will lead the Pakatan Rakyat to expose it anyway - the technology is available - leaving the government red faced and having to explain even more, to the voters, come GE13. You have been told so, by a voting rakyat! Your actions or inactions will effect the GE13.

perbahasan patut ditunjukkan secara langsung sepenuhnya supaya rakyat dapat melihat siapa yang bodoh dan siapa yang bangang. lepas itu barulah kita dapat tengok pulak siapa yang berakal. masa tayangan 30 minit tidak cukup. kalau bola, olimpik boleh tengok live berjam-jam, why not the the MPs? we voted for them so we have that right to watch them!!

Mr Karpal Singh, i tell u, with all due respect. if you cannot behave yourself and get into a tussle with monkeys, then u will become no better.

if PR MPs cannot act better than BN MPs then Kapal will really SINK.

Next GE ppl will just stay at home and watch tv instead of voting for PR.

Dear Karpal Singh & pakatan rakyat members.... people elected you to make the change for better Malaysia future. Hence stop & ignore minus issue and deliver quality speak in Parliament. This Ibrahim Ali fellow is really desperate for attention. And he appears to be a vengeful person as well. Watch him PR and particularly PAS. Get him to get in line, otherwise, spank him hard to the point that he cannot sit in parliament and cause further embarrassments.

Mr Karpal Singh, please take it easy! Focus, you are no longer a meek Opposition, you have been given the power by the rakyat, take it easy, please.
