"Now or Never" Bagi Anwar Ibrahim PDF Print
Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:33

It's now or never".

It is now or never.

Kenapa Now or Never?

DSAI,

You are right to take your time to Strengthen PR 1st.
Rushing to form the new government can wait until the Rakyat's issues are addressed.

God will open the timing for you...if it is you.
I would like to see PR forming the government now but I'd rather wait for God's timing.

After all, i am sure you know that this unprecendented recent win is due to the prayers of the people crying out for justice etc.

wait. the time will come.

I will rather put as "ITS NOW OR LATER" as PR will need time to establish Pakatan Rakyat as a truly working political front where the three political parties agree and practise common front objectives.

If the 5 PR state goovernment can really cooperate and work beautifully then Sabah and Sarawak will certainly notice and may possibly join. PR has to diffrentiate itself away from BN image ..be more inclusive, a more of give and take mindset .. and convince Sabah and sarawak that PR is a more trustworthy, agreeable long term partner.

What is the point of forming a relationship when the parties are not ready. In this case..better wait when they are ready or not alt all. If all the parties have great chemistry and trust one another and understand each other well and work well together...then they can go together as a PR quickly.

At the moment in preparation for future governmental role .. does PR has a shadow cabinet?

Yes, DSAI, its now or never. We have to take this golden moment, the defining moment to consolidate our PR position and form the legal government. Then only the BN,Umno, and the rakyat will see the real Pakatan Rakyat at work, in the Federal and also the 5 states. It will really blow their mind off, shake their very core, so that they are thrown off their foundation. Then with the fund not available not as much and with the integrity build, the rakyat will definitely vote the PR gov in next election, and BN,Umno will really be obsoleted, and get themself disappear from this earth.

Please, this kind of voting pattern is a once in a life time moment, we must capitalize on this, take up this aspiration of the rakyat, if not due to the vote rigging and also the postal police votes, definitely, PR already form the federal gov. Please, please, please, PR and DSAI, we must form the gov, this June 8th 2008, or Aug 8th 2008, or Aug 31st 2008, or this 16th Sept 2008.
We must move together, to take up the aspiration of our government. We will bound back and move forward. No more Umno and BN, they are too arrogant and corrupt to change. they are gone.

My encounter with an Iban businesswoman in KL way back 1998 GE is very nostalgic. Our PKR office was just next to her exclusive business premise. One night after coming back from putting on posters, I was confronted by this lady angrily questioning me and our group of 25 members. She was very furious and wanted to know who had given the permission to put up the posters on her premise. Off course we people also did not know whom since there were many new volunteers turned up every other day prior to 1998 GE.

Well! Well! She is a staunch supporter of BN and boasted that she had contributed RM10K

Two years later, she came to me asking how to get to talk to PKR leaders cos she wanted to invite them to go to her constituency. Off course I was shocked but politely asked her what the reason for her about turn is. She quipped regrettably and told me that almost all their forefather land had been confiscated for reasons known to you people lately, OK.

Over to you Sarawakian or Sabahan, it is now or never. Would you people like to enjoy free study until university for your children? Free medical attention. Free highway and lot more welfare can be distributed from our country rich resources

Well we can go on arguing about maybe DSAI ada udang di sebalik batu. But, so what if he does he is more capable leader than all the BN leadership put together. Malaysia will be much better because we will have a better leader leading the country.

I never trust politicians either they are Malay, Chinese, Indians or others but you just have to choose one that is less corrupt and that can lead with authority. Not monopoly authority but make difficult decision when come to race and religion. He/She must be respected by all race and religion. At this moment I believe DSAI is one of them.

anisrahman,

Your blog will fail. Nobody will listen to you. You will be isolated in years to come. Mahathir supporters are only going for money. So do you have money?

If you don't have, then go to hell.

It is not necessary for Anwar to rush into the political mainstream now. It is a better strategy if he chooses to allow his wife Dr. Wan Azizah to be the Prime Minister when the timing is right for Pakatan Rakyat to form the new government. This is of course depending on the mutual agreement of the leaders of the component parties of PR. In the meantime, Anwar can play a more effective leadership and mentoring role to get PR into a coherent single party able to operate in the spirit of the original Constitution of Malaysia. When PR forms the government, Anwar can be the de facto Minister Mentor to guide the government in the right direction.

Dr. Wan Azizah, the unwilling politician has “come of age” in the mainstream politics and may be the right person to bring about the “second Merdeka” for Malaysia. She has the qualities of charisma, integrity, composure, finesse, cool under pressure, incorruptible, and the ability to listen to others. She is the right person to help cleanse the entrenched systems of corruption. With the corrupted leaders able to speak louder and daring to challenge the authority to investigate them, and yet no action has been taken so far means that most if not all of them are like “the kettle calling the cat black”. Birds of the same feather flock together.

Anwar is playing the cards close to his chest, and has publicly acknowledging that he will let Dr. Wan Azizah be the Prime Minister when PR forms the government and the component parties agree to it. Anwar has come a long way in his turbulent political career, and should not be in a hurry to hop on the next available bandwagon.

It is better for Anwar to be at the current enviable leadership role and work hard to strengthen PR and plan to form the government when the time is right. With the BN component parties in disarray and the UMNO internal crisis, there shall be quite a bit of time to work out the strategic alliance with the “political kataks” with conscience and responsibilities. Anti hopping law may not stop these politicians from crossing over if they have already made up their mind. Leaders with a good heart may sacrifice themselves to force a by-election, if they are not allowed to hop.

The weeks to come may be full of intrigues and behind the scene negotiations and compromises, and we may see a government that can address the needs of the people more effectively.

There is this saying that whatever is yours is yours.
