(STAR) SHAH ALAM: The Selangor government has warned Tanjung Sepat assemblyman Datuk Dr Karim Mansor that it will make public the Barisan Nasional man’s involvement in the centralised modern pig farm project if he continues to politicise it.

State Agriculture, Modernisation, Natural Resources Management and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Yaakob Sapari said that Dr Karim should stop inciting the people against the RM100mil project as he was among those who agreed to the project.

“We have the list of the Barisan members who went on the study tour to Germany in connection with modern pig farming and we can disclose this if the issue is not put to rest,” he told a press conference after briefing MPs and assemblymen from PKR, DAP and PAS on the project.

Yaakob said he had photographs of Dr Karim standing inside a pigpen in Germany and countless other pictures of him in Amsterdam and also at the Eiffel Tower in France that could be made public.

“I will question the reason and activities of the delegation (to Germany) and Karim during the state assembly sitting which begins next Tuesday,” he said.

He said the project would proceed to be set up at the site in Ladang Tumbuk in Sepang as two environment engineering experts from Universiti Teknologi Petronas found it suitable and the project would be completed in one year.

The farm, he said, would only be allowed to have 250,000 animals and meant just to serve the demand for the meat within the state.

Luckily they have no time to destroy all docs, at least we have some photos, etc to SHOW the real idiotic side of BN/UMNO morons when they were in power, buat apa in Paris when the the study tour was supposed to be in Germany. Holidaying with tax payers money lah, this is what BN/UMNO is good for.

yes,saudara Yaakob,i salute u,go ahead with the project,afterall,just ignore the UMNO naive motives!Afterall,the IRD also collected 60% revenue duit 'haram' (those ppl eating pork),i never heard the UMNO saying:"nanti dulu,kami tak boleh pakai duit 'haram' dari orang yang makan babi!"
There are plenty of ppl like Karim in UMNO,tat's why even today their agenda is rejected by Rakyat,syabas KETUANAN RAKYAT!

Photos of him at Eifeel Tower ? look more like a holiday trip to me rather than "lawatan sambil belajar". If that was really a "lawatan sambil belajar", then Dr Karim should pay the new government the cost of that trip if he is not supportive of this project. Don't waste the people to go to holiday at the pretext of "lawatan sambil belajar"

What standing in a pig pen. Maybe he even learn the artificial insemination technique of sows(Female Pig)breeding or learn how to coax the sows to go on heat or even participate in collection of sp..m for artificial insemination. One must be familiar with such breeding techniques for mass pig farming. I am familiar as I was part of a farm where we had approximately 40000 pigs.

I wonder why this revelation by the MCA was not in the local press and medias? It doesnt take a genius to know why.

My gosh, the pictures say more than a thousand words. If we are importing high tech for pig technology, I have to say I am shocked at the lack of hygiene. Our friendly Datuk permitted into an environment without special clothings is No, No. The pig farm where I onced worked is so high tech that we have uniforms & personnels cannot move around freely in the event of diseases wiping out stocks. Each time in & out per Barn, we have to take shower & fresh change of clothes & shoes provided by Company. We have our own lab too. Did this Datuk visit a high tech pig farm/research center or a run of the mill small backyard farm? The farm I worked in has 40000 or more pigs and barn stalls are washed every week. Pig farming biggest headache is disease & waste management.
