Exclusive Interview With The PAS President: Pakatan Rakyat To Implement Integrated Policy PDF Print
Friday, 11 April 2008 15:24

PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said Pakatan Rakyat is going to implement an integrated policy, using the initiative by the Perak government to issue permanent land titles to other Pakatan controlled states in in Selangor, Kedah, Kelantan and Penang.

He said the people, who are facing problems with housing and farming land titles, are poor people. Therefore, Pakatan will adopt a common approach and treat the people equally.

“For us, permanent land titles are one of the policy of a welfare state.”

Hadi Awang added that apart from issuing permanent land titles to Perak new village people, Kelantan PAS government has also opened its land application to all races long time ago.

“The Penang government headed by DAP will also proceed to settle the problem of illegal Malay blockhouse. These are the implementations of fair policies by Pakatan.”

Hadi Awang said that the moderate position of the new state governments in implementing the policies of Pakatan has won praises from the people. He added that it is too early to make an assessment on the Pakatan government now. However, the government has treated all races fairly.

“The leaders of Pakatan government will take the moderate governance style of Kelantan MB Datuk Nik Aziz as a model. They will be open and frank to the people and civil servants. It is a good start.”

Asked if this will put pressure on the BN government, he said that the BN government should not see it as pressure. They should open their hearts and learn from good examples.

“I hope that the BN government will not hold double standards or treat Pakatan unfairly.

He urged the BN central government to open opportunities for investors to invest in Pakatan states. He also requested the central government officials to give support and cooperate with them. (Sin Chew Daily)

Let the Electorate know and witness how PR runs the 5 states and how fairly it treats all Malaysians, and let RAKYAT in Pahang, Perlis, Terengganu, Johore, Malacca, Negri Sembilan, Sabah & Sarawak join in by voting PR in the next GE !!

We should have kicked out BN much much earlier !!

Barisan Nasional is becoming more and more irrelevant by the days.

These reformist policies are going to be the last nails in the Barisan nasional's coffin.
