I stayed up all night to watch the breaking of a new dawn. BN will still form the government and I promise that the Malaysians will now experience a more liberal way of life. Only the UMNOputeras will not live liberally now. Otherwise in 5 years time there will be another lesson for them.
The ghost of May 13 1969 has been exorcised. There is no violence because the opposition have made inroads. The Malays do not feel threatened. Only the UMNOputeras are. Infact if I read the analysis correctly, it is the Malays, by refusing to come out and vote, allowed this development. They have realized too that the NEP is only for the UMNOputeras. Now we will all, Malays, Chinese and Indians, march together and put the UMNOputeras in their place. PM was not very smart in calling for an election when clearly the ground was against him since November 2007. The Indians not turning up at Batu Caves during Thaipusam, as in previous years, should have been a clear indicator that the Indians are angry. Toll Samy failed to tutor PM and the UMNOputeras about “Makkal Sakthi”. I hope they have learnt a lesson that the main stream media should be reporting the truth and not what they want to hear. The information minister paid the price. As a first step to heal the rift, the government should release the 5 good men who have been unjustly detained for voicing the plight of the Indians. The voters of Kota Seri Alam have shown what they think of these detentions. No one should under estimate the power of cyberspace. We knew about the extermination of political big wigs, annihilations of Gerakan, MIC and the fall of other states long before the main stream media reported. “Cyber Sakthi” was at work. Your statement in today’s Star that indicating that States held by opposition will not get federal development aid should be reviewed by BN. They did that to Kelantan for 18 years and it did not work. They have treated voters who exercise their legitimate right to voting opposition by being unfair to them. Development funds are channeled to only BN held constituencies. Special funds are channeled to UMNOputera held constituencies. They deny development to opposition held state and , worse, use the said threat during election campaigns. Now 4 other states have thrown in the challenge. Let us see if they will work to heal or for further annihilation. All pundits who said that large turnouts at opposition cermarahs will not necessary turn into votes will be eating their words. Ah. Reminds me. Large turnouts did not result in violence though the turnouts were large at opposition rallies. Maybe now the police will review their reasons for not granting permits for “demonstrations”. After all we have proven that we are civilized people. It is only the keris waving UMNOputeras who can run amok and soak the keris in blood. We don’t and will not. Maybe, if the UMNOputeras are smart, will use the “demonstrations” as a tool to know the ground. Tomorrow there will be changes to the town councils in Klang Valley. Hopefully now you can get that permit to extend your church. Krishna M Singh

Is there no one in the BN that realises this?
I take this opportunity to thank the Police for being largely apolitical this time.
