IT’S A NEW YEAR WITHOUT HOPE, the gloom caused by a compound of bad economic prospects and a needlessly punishing set of political vibes.

The Prime Minister was ill-advised into taking a course quite contrary to his promises for a higher level of maturity and culture Malaysia was very much in need of to fill in gaps left by the speedy transition into an urban and industrial society. He reneged.

A lot of Mahathir's mega projects doesn't bring any benefit to the nations. Our R&D is still performing below par. Malaysia is unable to climb to the high skill industry like Biotechnology, medical, electronics and many more. Malaysia is a country who cares about what cars they drive and what house they live in.

Mahathir has make Malaysia only care about material rather than be a citizen that contributes to the advancement of race. So, Malaysian economy are now stuck in between the high skills economy such as Singapore and low cost economy such as Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Furthermore Malaysia do not have the size to compete with China and India. So, I guess the Malay intellectuals will come out with as many consipiracy teory and racist teory to be secluded from the rest of the advance world.

Malay intellectuals will always give excuse that Malaysia is the Malay land, therefore the chinese and indians can get the fark out if they don't like it in Malaysia. Instead of looking towards becoming a progressive race, they will accuse their own Malay leaders of selling out to other countries. IN actual fact, they still own the land and if they wants the Singaporeans to get the fark out, they could have done it now.

Right now, they are behaving in a way that only wants money but do not want to work hard to improve the lifes of many poor malays and the rest of the Malaysians. Most Malay intellectuals are such narrow minded that they worries about their own race and the land they own, but in actual fact, nothing much could be done by them to uplift their fellow Malays or develop the land that they own.
