I may not agree in everything what Dr Asri says about political issues, but I think he deserves all the right to freedom of speech especialy in matters of faith in Islam.

He should not have been humiliated this way if sanity prevails. An open dialogue is in order here. Let all those who dissent openly engaged in an intellectually rewarding discourse.

Is this the begining of a new phase of bigotry - ’Manufacturing Consent’ is taking a new twist and turn. What is their excuse now. I’m extremely disturbed. I remain to be corrected.

Salam sejatera Dr, Zulkifli, you need not have to be alarmed, the irregularities are aplenty in the land of plenty, MALAYSIA, when murderers went unpunished, innocent witness was thrown out of the 14th floor MACC building, detainees in police lock-up are tortured to death, scandals of mega corruption are a norm, attractive foreigner female is being blown into thousand pieces, questionable purchase of submarine, PKFZ scandal that sucks up taxpayers' egg-nest, etc.......

You just need to swallow a few gulps of saliva to convince yourself that more of such despicable scenarios are available for you to fathom in the nearest future!!!!

It would be hilarious to see Dr. Asri be charged! It's an outright political motivated! Even a blind could see throught that! Well let's this been picked up by international media and let them judge how ridiculous our country is now! I think we should change our country to Somalia where they don't even allow women to wear bras and come out with such stupid idiotic excuses! I'm just waiting them to outlaw panties too! That would be good! we are back to the stone age! Hahaha! Cavemen! Too many running dogs in Selangor right now! There was MACC Selangor throwing people out from windows and now the religious department! Pakatan better clean this monkeys out from the zoo! smilies/grin.gif

Freedom of speech in Islam? You must be joking.

There is no freedom of speech in Islam. IN Islam, if I am the King or PM, I am ISLAM and all of you will be jail by me at my own discretion.

What a non-progressive culture and protocol?

Try arresting Tok Guru, Kelantan Menteri Besar or prevent him from speaking!ALL PAS members will march to Putrajaya.

Since Najieb has denied ordering his dogs to arrest Dr Asri, who ordered it? Even though JAIS is Selangor based, I understand all matters of Islam is under the King (nationally) or Sultan's jurisdiction. Well, what's your explanation, DYMM Sultan Selangor? If you didn't give the order, please get rid of "Little Hitlers" in your Islamic departments. smilies/angry.gif

In Islam, there is no freedom but submission to the doctrines and authority. The authority like JAIS is the law as in all other Islamic states. From the earliest beginning of Islamic states, all those with different interpretations and views are fighting and killing each other to gain control and force its views on the conquered. This is nothing new today. Its a continuation from the past. That is to conquer all and rule. All other views and ideas are wrong and supressed. What freedom is there in an Islamic society?

What do you expect? He is only a Mufti who is appopinted by the ruler. JAIS people are appointed by UMNO - a much higher authority..
