After the nonsensical assembly sitting in Perak on Oct 28, Barisan Nasional should deeply reflect whether it is worthwhile to prolong its farcical rule in the Silver State.

To say the least, the session was a complete washout.

First, police control and intervention inside and outside the assembly was so heavy and so overpowering that it has completely destroyed the image of our legislature as an independent institution and the highest in our system of government.

Second, the slipshod manner with which BN’s budget motion was rushed through makes us wonder whether the budget was legally approved.

Let us start with the budget approval.

Barisan Nasional Menteri Besar Zambry Kadir started his budget speech at 11.20am, and 30 minutes later, he had not only completed his speech, but had moved his budget motion through three readings. Each one was approved by the BN assemblymen present, with vocal protests from Pakatan assemblymen.

There was no debate and no one seemed to have heard any detailed figures – if figures were read out, these were not carried in many newspapers the next day. Pakatan assemblymen walked out immediately after the third reading was passed.

A budget proposal is a statement of revenue and expenditure as well as major policies that encompass the entire government which is made up of many departments.

So, it is normally a lengthy speech, followed by debates that take place during each of the first, second and third readings. It is hence a real marvel how the assembly could have compressed such elaborate process of proposal, deliberation and decision in all the three stages in a short half hour.

Through such shotgun approval, the voices of the people who speak through their representatives are muted. Isn’t this a mockery of our democratic process and betrayal of the trust of the people?

Can we then call the budget legally approved? On top of that is the questionable legality of R. Ganesan’s position as speaker.

"....the slipshod manner with which BN’s budget motion was rushed through" !!!??
Aiya, we beg to differ. This is in fact a well planned, well executed combined operation by UMNO to push the budget through. "Combined" here is the use of the Pengganas Di Rasuah Makansuap as bully boys to selectively use force against legitimately elected assemblymen from voting. But then might is right, UMNO does not even pretend to behave legitimately anymore, there is no need to. The force i$ with them! $o $emua-nya OK! Heee Hee.

So what?
The UMNOputras must be rubbing their hands in glee!
Ganesan, a doubly anointed illegal Speaker?
so, why has his status not been challenged in the courts?
Yes, all of us know the judiciary[by & large] is another division of the UMNOputras but it does not mean Nizar , Sivar & their merry men should concede a walk-over!

Kacang Tanah, it is the Sultan & Barisan Najis (represented by Zombie, Gun-ehsan, & the 3 Kataks) who are screwing & sodomizing the Rakyat in Perak, by denying them their legitimately elected State Govt. Of course Najis Rosak will hold onto to power in Perak whether or not illegally is not the point. In Malaysia, whatever the Barisan Najis Govt. does, even if illegal, is made out to be legal, and everything Pakatan Rakyat does is made out to be illegal and bad for the nation.

We all know what to do at the GE13, don't we ?!! Vote In Pakatan Rakyat, Kick Out Barisan Najis, completely !

In all circumstances, the BN assemblymen have every intention to do the budget by force, with or without debate. In the first instance, the sitting is not bona fide.
The BN assemblymen had forcefully get police to enter a protected place like the state assembly building!!!!!
The BN assemblymen had intentionally had detectives "smuggled" into the assebly hall, which is out of bounds to anyone except elected representatives of the state gomen!!!!
This is certainly not democracy at work.
This is tyranny at work!!!!!
We will not see democracy unless and until the BN people are voted out in a snap election!!!!!!

Fortunately the PDRM gangsters didn't choke Sivakumar to death. But I wouldn't be surprised one of these days, they "over-do" that act and kill one of our representatives. Be careful, this country is a failed state. People living in a failed state have grounds to fear the govt and the police - we are all living in fear, isn't it? Thanks to bn voters.
