Baru Bian appointed as PKR Sarawak Chairman PDF Print

That is the best way to say on behalf of an extremely ambitious politician with the latest development taking place in Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sarawak now.

Sarawak Update was informed exclusively by the small bird that PKR powerful political bureau had agreed to appoint prominent civil rights lawyer Baru Bian as its new Sarawak liaison chairman.

Being a pro BN blog, Sarawak Update was accorded the privilege to announce his appointment earlier than Anwar Ibrahim, the PKR de facto leader. Trust me.

His appointment came as no surprise because the growing number of young professional in the party are slowly phasing out the axed government servant and unwanted Barisan Nasional (BN) ancient politician, plus Democratic Action Party (DAP) rejects.

Baru, who is actively championing Native Customary Rights (NCR) land issues in Sarawak was chosen in favour of an almost 80-year-old former State Minister of Sarawak, whom is best described as near senile individual who always interfere in PKR Sarawak struggle, despite repeatedly being rejected by voters since switching came from BN to the opposition.

Baru selection will also serve as catalyst to pull in former Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) who are currently partyless, proving that Dayak leadership is recognised in PKR Sarawak. In fact prior to PBDS deregistration, Baru is a close confidante of Daniel Tajem and Leo Moggie, the defunct party past presidents.

His recognition will also serve as push factor for the partyless young Dayaks to join PKR en bloc, hoping that they could challenge the existing racial-based Dayak politic of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP), Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) and not forgetting the backbone of BN, Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).

This however is not as easy as it may seems, partly because PKR is still lacking credible leaders. Most of its current leaders are from questionable background, many of whom are recycle figures that have participated in more election that one could imagine.

Baru Bian is a fighter... He has been fighting for the fate of many Dayaks with regards to NCR land. NCR issue is a very critical part of Sarawak Politics.

Saudara Baru Bian, heartiest congratulations!!! At long last, the ice is broken and there emerges a man who is willing to carry the PKR flag for the people of Sarawak. Yes, indeed, they need you to champion their cause; they want you to lead the way and to protect them from those wolves under sheep's clothing; and to shield them; they require someone strong and upright to stand up for them, so that their children shall not be in harm's way, and their land will not be taken away forcefully by the thieving politicians from UMNO regime!!!

Keep up with the good work, saudara Baru Bian!!!

If you consider this BN rejects actually are good stuff for rakyat because most likely they reject corruption and cronyism. So, yes majority of them are welcome but those that was convicted of wrong doing (CORRUPTION) and need to clean their name by swearing on Quran are not welcome. So, there you go smilies/smiley.gif

Baru Bian,

Please immunize yourself to possible attacks from BeeEnd/Amno/Pbeebee hornets.
They will sting if they perceive you a big threat to their survival.

Congrats !!

BTW, somehow, please convince PR leaders to include provisions in ( National ) Pakatan Rakyat's constitution for ordinary voters to pick their own man for Prime Minister.

We think no 200 gila-money politicians should ever pick our Prime Ministerfor us again.
