The religious hypocrites in PAS have strike again. This time, and again, calling for a ban of Beyonce concert which is scheduled to be held on 25th October.

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic party (PAS) has campaigned against several foreign performers and in 2007, along with other Muslim groups,threatened protests that forced Beyonce to scrap her planned debut concert in Malaysia.

'We oppose the holding of such concerts and we will take action to prevent such a concert from taking place in Malaysia,' PAS youth chief Nasrudin Tantawi told AFP, without specifying what action would betaken.

This performance is not suitable for Muslims as her skimpy attire and behaviour onstage are immoral and lead to unclean behaviour,' he said.

The party might as well set up a new unit to be called, the "Anti-Concert Squad". If this concert is not suitable for Muslims, the party should advise them not to attend it instead of calling for a ban.

What about my non-Muslim right and acceptance of Beyonce's performance and music?

Are Muslims that spiritually and morally weak that they could be 'influenced' to commit something immoral by just looking at a few artistes performing in skimpy outfit?

If yes, then the party should first call for a total ban of the Internet. A lot of uncensored stuff can be found on the Internet and most of them can be accessed much cheaper than going for the Beyonce concert.

PAS has nothing to do except using religion as their meant cause. This is why they are so fart-up and screw-up. If you want to use as as sexism and too revealling, then you better do something about men kissing each other and holding hands in middle east (the ration of gay in middle east is higher per population), which is even worst and it already happened among the very religious community in PAS. Is PAS fighting and practicing for gay rights and for a common normal human relationship? Let the youngsters enjoy themselves, and if you want to ban muslims from going, then do so, but don't be an stupid idiot.

PAS has a legitimate right to object but not prevent-by-coercion, and i support their rights to express their views.

Sometimes i wonder - is PASyouth objections due to their fears of the weakness-of-islamic-faithful in resisting temptation, or is it because they have to reinforce-influence-over-the-faithful ?

Whether its abstinence or prevention is the right prescription for muslims, let the muslims peoples decide for themselves - i think they know what good for them and what is not. But decide for yourselves, not for others.

Pas always likes to do the tango, one step forward 2 steps back.

I reckon the 'majlis tertinggi' PAS should start reigning in their members for shooting their mouth before processing in their higher faculties. The report by AFP is shocking as it's not a mouth piece of Ameno and as such has some modicum of responsibility.

It's stone age mentality like this that prevents mass supports from fence sitters.

Please dont claim you are talking on behalf of all the Muslims!!! For me that is hypocritics. Okay follow your style, if you know what is right and wrong, good for you, then dont attend the concert. Stay home and let others enjoy it. Dont dictate other's life (muslims or non-muslims). Going by your name, you should stay in the water only!

To PAS leaders like PAS youth chief Nasrudin Tantawi, their party stands for Party Anti Social. They will also not heitate to fill Kamunting prison if they ever become powerful. But I have come across such characters visiting massage parlours in Bangkok and watching belly dance.

Non-muslims want exactly that, to be left alone to enjoy ourselves. But your fanatic brothers are NOT leaving us alone, they want to ban concerts, thus preventing non-muslims from enjoying a good show. They want to block the building of temples, they want to ban the sale of beer. Control your own weak minds, but leave us the hell alone ok?

Their actions seem to imply that a big section of Malaysians are generally weak mentally and morally loose to the extent that a concert such as this will ignite some raging libidoes or even cause some hard-ons.

I just can't seem to understand the mentality of certain religionists. If i see a naked person walking on a street, be in a man or a lady. I may perceive it as art. Some religionists will perceive it as pornography.

So who will be at fault here? The delivish urge hiding within or the naked person? This is a very dangerous ground because these religionists aren't fixing the root cause which is their own mind.

If one has a horny mind, even fully covert body will seem erotic.
