People's Declaration promotes common good for all Malaysians. It does not propagates and treats Malaysians based on Race and Religion. It should be well received by All Malaysians. It is only a matter of time that racist policies propagated by UMNO will be OUT and GONE.

Now that PKR and DAP have endorsed the Declaration, how do we get the message across to the voters. Surely the newspapers and TV will not carry this news since they want to see the country go down the drain.
Obviously this will not go down well with those propagating the Ketuanan concept.

Maybe parties that endorse the declaration should use it as part of their campaigning and also challenge the bn to state why the bn has not endorsed it when the contents are "for the rakyat".

Sorry my reply before the 'testicular defiency' comments were deleted. Anyway, my comment basically was, does the BN have the guts to endorse the Peoples Declaration?

as for me, with or without the Peoples' Declaration, I still vote for the opposition.

The only way to change the policies of the nation is to change the the "all-time dominant" and corrupted political party. New brooms always sweeps well. If one do not want to vote the opposition (BN) and change the the corrupted ruling party, then the other choice is to still vote for the BN.

For those who felt that its no point voting and wants to boycott voting, then in a way they are giving a free pass to the BN to win.

In situation like this we have only two choice, BA or BN.

Suppose BA make a blunder for the next five years, would it make any different if you allow BN to be in power for the same period?

One will have to be a risk taker in order to break outside their comfort zones parameters and enlarge their existing zones. If they dare not and don't want to be a risk takers, then remain in your zones. With the existing plight about racism , corruption, bias, cronism, abuse of powers etc etc.. i reckon many of their comfort zones will get smaller, and in the end they go to the cookoo nest or find an exit to wonderland.

Supporting the BA to will doesn't mean that they can rule the nation for the next 50 years like the BN. If they failed to implement what they promised and what the rakyat wants, they better pack their bags in the next five years...

As for the BN, Five years out of job, can make them think and reorganized their parties in the BN, look at themselves in the mirror, kick the ass of the unwanted leadership, and who knows... maybe after the next term they can be a better party for the rakyat to consider...

To me, a patriotic rakyat cannot be selfish, not dynamic, living in a tight comfort zone...and only ask "what is there for me?"

Either we we change the BN in total or stop crying and complaining like a small kid! Just Do It! Vote for the Opposition....!!!

Put the Peoples' Declaration on a one page advertisement in the mainstream media. Most likely the newspapers' management will reject the appplication for obvious reasons. They do not want to take the risk of Press and Printing Act being slapped on them. But no harm in trying to test the 'water'.

Funding-wise, MT has hundreds of thousands of readers who can easily chip in RM10.00 and the amount collected will be more than sufficient.

Takers anyone?

This is indeed exciting times. History in the MAKING. The PEOPLE have spoken and so far PKR & DAP have declared their support for The People's Declaration. We still have NOT HEARD from PAS. Where are you PAS? Or have i missed something!

PKR & DAP & PAS please DO NOT BECOME sombong when you win. The people place you there to represent the people. Listen to the PEOPLE. DO NOT become corrupted. DO NOT do all those things UMNO/BN has done. If you abide by The People's Declaration you will be on the right path. If you DO NOT abide we will bring you DOWN!

Thanks Ronnie.

Ronnie, Charles Santiago in Klang is a bad idea. The people don't know him and can't relate to him. Sure to lose. Rearrange the seats. Maybe state seat in PJ/Puchong.

It will be interesting to see what the print media do once the election is announced

Will they follow the route of cowardice and continue their sycophantic arse licking role while hoping like crazy that BN will be returned to power

OR

Will they show some courage and reclaim their true role as watchdogs for the community by fighting for a better future for all Malaysians (including themselves)

What a dilemma for the poor things

Excellent suggestions by cocomomo and spearbing. Parties that have adopted the People's declaration should have it emblazoned on their banners, buntings, t-shirts and whatever campaign paraphernalia they use. Parties should also take out advertisements in the major papers to show publicly that they have listened and are willing to listen to the people. The purpose of these steps should be to put intense pressure on BN to explain their reluctance to accept the Declaration. They should be explain to the voters when they are on their campaign rounds why they havent's are NOT willing to accept the People's Declaration.
Kudos to the team that put the people's declaration together.

Dear friends,

How to reach to the people????
Print the People’s Declaration ourselves and distribute to those close to us, neighbourhood, colleagues, friends etc, etc,..

To DAP, Ronnie Liu,
Is that all. Just a simple statement from Guan Eng and delivered by Ronnie in that manner. Doesn’t seem to be very serious in their part in agreeing to the declaration. We need your letter. We want to print them.

VOTE for CHANGE!!!!!

Friends,

its not enough just for the political parties to campaign on their own. We must also dissiminate information to our families, neighbours, colleagues, friends etc etc.... Print flyers by ourselves. Why must everything be done by the political parties alone. Their campaign outreach is not very far as the media are controlled by the corrupted BN. If we can contribute, then we do it. Dont be afraid for being labelled as opposition supporters. After all our cause is a noble one. Time to prove yourselves of your commitment for change. RPK and MT team must be helped. Our contribution this way is small compared to what they have done. Are we that selfish too???? So easy to say BN are selfish but we are not willing to to give such a small sacrifice???

WORK TOGETHER FOR CHANGE!!!!!
