MACC quizzes Dr Khir over two cases

(The Star) - Former Selangor mentri besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo spent about six hours at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over two cases being investigated by the commission.

It is understood that Dr Mohd Khir arrived at the MACC headquarters here at about 8.30am Monday and only left the building at about 2.30pm.

He managed to evade the group of pressmen who had been waiting outside the lobby since about 8am by using the basement carpark just below the MACC office.

It is understood that the former mentri besar did not use his own car when he came to the MACC office but had been driven there in a Proton Wira to avoid being spotted by the press.

It is learnt that Dr Mohd Khir was queried by MACC officers over the purchase of his multimillion-ringgit palatial mansion and also allegations that government-linked companies in Selangor had paid RM1.7mil for Disney World and Disneyland “technical” trips when he was mentri besar.

If MACC can clear Musa Hassan and Gani Patail of wrongdoing in Anwar's 1998 sodomy case, I'm sure they can come to a happy arrangement with Khir anak Toyol. Bet MACC wants to know the passwords to some of his offshore accounts...

Well, one thing for sure, we will not be seeing his dead body on the 5th floor of the building adjoing the Plaza Masalam MACC office - I bet he even get coffee and cakes and a fancy lunch during his 6-hour "ourdeal" questioning, more like 10-mins talk and 5 hours sit and wait and probably play mahjong so as not to look so fast and easy !! smilies/grin.gif

I am now praying that Khir Toyol will not commit suicide while under MACC investigation just like what happened to Teoh Beng Hock. The reason for my prayers is that Khir Toyol has to account for all his abuse of power and illgotten gains in this present life time rather than in akhirat, just as what happened to Zakaria Derus the ex KTM gatekeeper who suddenly had the means to build a posh and exquisite mahligai. Now Zakaria Derus is awaiting for his final judgement day from Allah Allmighty where he will be revealed all his sins and crimes against humanity.

I bet nothing like Teoh Beng Hock will happened to Toyol. Instead if it takes longer than 6 hours, Toyol would be breaking fast with all the MACC employees and he would have foot the bill.

During the six hours, MACC would be discussing with him how to get out of the quandry rather than being questioned by MACC.

Why come in Wira when has has Mercs. Take helicopter and land on roof top better!

That Toyol spent 6 hours at the MACC?? Must be going over the dialog of what they will ask him and how he is to reply to get his sorry arse out of the charges against him. End of the day, the MACC is satisfied with Toyol's clarifications and the case will land up inthe rubbish dump. End of story!

If you have not initiate legal action against the whistle blower, just let it be, because if you go ahead, more names will be involved which is not good.

Khir should win the Anugerah Pelakon Terbaik. He made it seem hush hush but everyone seem to know he is there. Actually the truth is he is there for an official meeting with MACC and the questioning goes as follow

MACC Kepala: Datuk sudah lama tak jumpa

Hello Toyol, don't you forget that the corrupted guy who committed suicide after UMNO/BN lost Selangor on March 8, 2008 to PR. Abusing his position & power, closing down other peoples' satay business but he himself running an illegally set-up satay restaurant with no one dare touching him until being exposed publicly.

The same with you, being damned corrupted when you were running the Selangor State Government & now with all the ill-gotten gains through corrupt & illegal means, you are accusing the PR State Government's Adun of corruption.

The Letterhead from MACC's very own have implicated you & the TP, Hishamuddin Hashim, in the same sampan for being corrupted deep into both your bone marrow. You & the TP are also responsibe for the death & murder of Sdr Teoh Beng Hock. NO BIG DEAL! After so much exposure...now only the MACC is moving their BUTT! If not for the Sivanesan's claims of torture, I don't think they would even budge! What a FARCE...we, the rakyat more or less knows what would be the result of such investigations...for this Toyol, he will NEVER be indicted for any criminal or corruption offences as long as Barisan Nasional still rules our country is my honest gut opinion!! The purpose of this "interview" (more like chit chat) by MACC is to whitewash Khir Toyo so that MACC can say, "tada kes!" Wait for it. Why take months before questioning Khir Toyo while opposition always get next day service? Stupid sandiwara. Time already expired la!

NFA will be the result because they cannot afford more scandals for Selangor's minority ADUN. If he was charged and found guilty that means another seat vacant and will be harder to steal/rob Selangor from PR.

Another way is use their rubber stamp MACC to clear his name and make it legal. Knowledgeable rakyat will cry foul but those that are loyal or doesn't have all the information might buy into it. So, PR need to bring this to all rakyat to make sure they are clear on that because we don't expect the like of Utusan Moron or the less glowing Star to do that.

The MACC officers quizzing him should not themselves be tainted.The quizzing should be videoed as a matter of record for the future as the public do not to see the opposite happening. Instead of getting the facts to convict him ,they maybe assiting him.
