Obama will be assassinated if he wins: Nobel winner Lessing

STOCKHOLM - IF BARACK Obama becomes the next US president he will surely be assassinated, British Nobel literature laureate Doris Lessing predicted in a newspaper interview published on Saturday.

Obama, who is vying to become the first black president in US history, would certainly not last long, a black man in the position of president. They would murder him,' Ms Lessing, 88, told the Dagens Nyheter daily.

Ms Lessing, who won the 2007 Nobel Literature Prize, said it might be better if Obama's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton were to succeed in her bid to become the first woman president of the United States.

'The best thing would be if they (Clinton and Obama) were to run together. Hillary is a very sharp lady. It might be calmer if she were to win, and not Obama,' she said. -- AFP

Oh that old lady is living in dark ages, US is bound to make history as they have finally opened to the idea of appointing leaders not based on race but on ability.
If that happens, US will be giving high regards and actually will earn respect from the rest of the world. I don't think Obama should just give up because of possibility of assassination! Go for it Obama! If you deserve to win, you will!
Prove to the world that race is not a barrier for leadership!
Hillary seems sharp ,yes but is she really up to the job, remains to be seen.
My hope is , may the best person wins, based on leadership NOT on race!

If Obama become president and didnt step on the Jewish interest it is unlikely his political career ended prematurely.. smilies/wink.gif

So he should follow GW Bush footsteps..JFK was murdered because he tried to stop Israel nuclear programme..

Lessing was right. Obama would serve better as a living VP rather than being a dead President. America is not ready to have a black President just like Malaysia will never accept a Chinese PM. I would prefer Obama as a President than the cunning Hilary but there are lots of sickos in America. The KKK are still as active and alive as our Al Alqam is. The Neo fascist Nazi whites will certainly kill Obama before he could be sworn in as President, do you think that the secret service or CIA would prevent that.

Hillary has the experience, but Obama will change democracy around the world, starting with Malaysia, where it is undreamed and unheard of that a non-Malay could emerge as the PM. Seems that Obama's momentum is unstoppable. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an Obama-Clinton ticket. She will provide the much needed experience he needs, much like Bush-Cheney ticket.

long before this lady came up with this prediction, I had a gut feeling about this. She is right, "He will be assassinated" worst is if he became the presidential candidate for year 2008 then, he will loose to the Republican Mc Caine. Thats the truth. In fact the republicans are praying Let Obama win against Hilary.

What ever, Poor America, Your elite, rich and powerful s are downright dirty and manipulative. They are the reason why America is in such a big mess locally and globally. If Hilary loose then it is a sure win for another NEO CON and sure death for AMERICA. That should please many Muslim countries who suffer because of the ZIONIST and NEO CON marriage of convenience.

I pray may God protect Obama from all the sicko's. Never mind he don't make it to be a president but yet he is a great asset for America.

Lessing is right in her soothsaying--- If asked me to vote -- i will go for Obama-- because --- America needs this change from the ordinary since history.

The point many fail to see is, America is run by a parallel GOVERNMENT ---- no matter who is elected . Its more powerful then all the Mafias and Intelligence Corps of the world---THE MILITARY!!!

No way WILL OBAMA survive the onslaught. there are many documents yet to be declassified about Kennedy's assassination. Once that is out --- the world will know more about the way the US is governed. An infirm US foreign policy is based on all this inner entrapments.
