He was being questioned as a witness to a corruption case involving RM 2,400. Yes two thousand and four hundred ringgit as opposed to the RM 4 billion (PKFZ) and many more millions exposed cases involving the ruling party (Khir Toyo) which the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) has chosen to conveniently ignore.

For RM2400 the MACC questioned Teoh Beng Hock, 30, an aide of Selangor state executive councillor Ean Yong Hian Wah, throughout the night and the next morning he was found dead apparently after falling from some floors up the MACC building. Now, a lot of questions are being asked. Who is responsible? What drove him to jump if he did jump?

In The Sun today, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) advisory panel member Tan Sri Robert Phang, who revealed that the panel will meet on Thursday to discuss the case, said: "If a person has been detained and interrogated for more than six hours, past midnight and right up to early in the morning, I view this is abuse of power.

Teoh's family has also been reported to distrust any investigation results by MACC and by the Malaysian Police. How can you not side with them with the overwhelming evidence of the selective prosecution by MACC and our Polis whom have always gone after the opposition members, and even more so recently as the Malaysian government try their utmost best to bring down the present Selangor state government which is under opposition rule. (Perak being the other state recently won back by the ruling party using highly questionable tactics).

Call for Royal Commission? What good would it do as even the last RC resulted in no action taken against the infamous "king-maker" Lingam despite obvious evidence to prosecute him.

Dont worry la. Najib will settle everything. MAcc will bring out two lambs to be sacrificed like the other murder case we know. Then MACC head will go pursue Masters in UK and everything will be forgotten. Till the next Kugan / TBH surfaced....

Just get rid of UMNO and much will improve automatically. Those who benefitted from UMNO's corrupt ways cannot be in the majority. Why should others still want to support UMNO, a party that is well known to be corrupt and rotten to the core unless one is for corruption.

Calling all GOD loving people. We must get rid of UMNO and that is the call of GOD and not heeding GOD to get rid of UMNO will amount to going against the will of GOD. Call all muslims and people of all faith. Get rid of the devil and it will be for the better of Malaysia.

It is a shame.

MACC gave higher priority to RM2,400 over RM4 billion.

Malaysians demand explanation from the government, the MACC advisory panels and also MACC. We want to know why this is done? We want the MACC to be transparent if their case. We want the big fish to be caught and prosecute. Why would any politicians wants to cheat RM2,400 in the first place? This is plan stupid and abuse of power. I want to know whether PM or any cabinet ministers are involved. I want to know any of the BN parties particularly UMNO is involved.

All those involved MUST resign. All those in the MACC panels who did nothing to improve MUST resigned. All those in MACC involved in this case must be immediately suspended and investigated.

Anything will not be acceptable. Malaysians MUST come together to change the government if this government continue to abuse their power. Let make sure Teoh will not die in vain. Let this be the catalyst of more reforms to come. Let this unite Malaysians and not divide. Malaysians who love this country would like to make sure all those guilty must be prosecuted to the maximum of the law.

Simple answer. Teoh was a young new kid on the block. A nobody in terms of high level poitics. The people behind PKFZ debacle and Khir Toyo have wire cable connections to the people walking in the corridors of power in Putrajaya. So who is MACC to question them? MACC is just like the pussy meow meow cat. They bully the mouse. And ran with its tail between the legs when they see the German Shepard howling around.

Unfortunately we have a corrupted govt with leadership in bullshitting the rakyat. My take is there should be no talking/investigative interviews with the public after 5pm. If MACC cannot do it within working hours then there is something wrong. Not forgetting MACC is not a police force. Why such terrorising & insulting investigative work. Heads in MACC got to roll & that applies to our law minister too.

Sadly I agree with the writer.
The Royal Commission of Inquiry may come to nothing as did the last one.
But at least we know the Lingam tapes were genuine- that the UMNOputras can no longer deny.
And so, one hopes that we can , at least, get to the bottom of who killed Beng Hock.
The mACC must be brought to account!
Justice for Beng Hock!

MACC swung into action against PR aduns & councillors based on hearsay posted in the blog and obviously the 46 cows.

MACC turned a blind eye to RM24million palace, PKFZ scandal, MAS scandal, collapse of Trengganu stadium, the 2 kataks from PKR in Perak and a long list of other glaring scandals. If their action is OUTRIGHT discrimination and racists, what IS? Racist UMNO government must go in next GE!
