(Malaysian Mirror) KOTA KINABALU - Sabah DAP has described Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s proposal to tackle the perennial problems in Sabah and Sarawak on the issue of birth certificates and citizenships as “an act out of the blue,” saying it may be nothing more than a prelude to “another round of population drive”.

Najib had made the announcement on the occasion of his first 100 days in office as PM.

State DAP chief and Kota Kinabalu MP Dr Hiew King Cheu said that Najib’s proposal only exposed the weaknesses and negligence on the government’s part in not handling the national registration with the utmost care and security.

This is reflected through the sudden increase in Sabah’s population during the late 80s to mid-90s, said the opposition parliamentarian, adding that the state’s population suddenly escalated by almost 70 per cent in a few years.

NRD not following procedures

“There is definitely no way the Sabah population could increase by that much, if not for the issuance of ‘dubious identity’ cards through the so-called ‘late registration’ or ‘blanket granting of citizenship’ to foreigners,” Hiew said.

dr-hiew.pngHe said that under the Sabah registration of births and deaths ordinance, any late registration of birth is needed to be certified by the court after an enquiry is made, but the National Registration Department (NRD) is not following this set procedure.

The eventual effect is that the natives of Sabah are sidelined in favour of the illegals, he said, adding that this does not augur well for Sabah.

“The government must ensure the authorities issuing the identity cards must comply and adhere strictly to the law on all the late registration of births,” said Hiew, who is also the party’s KK branch head.

On the other hand, he added, the assurance will come to nothing if no support is given to the court, especially to the Mobile Court set up in Sabah, since the court can and have the power to validate any late registration of birth certificates.

If not, such certificate issued by the NRD is not admissible as evidence and if used to issue identity cards, according to him.

Illegals becoming Sabahans

It will mean the government is using inadmissible documents to give out citizenships.

Being a regular traveller to JB and KL (every month) I have not failed to meet my fellow Sabahans working in the peninsula. Surprisingly nearly half of those that I have met are actually none Sabahans (especially in Johor) but with Mykads. Some have married the locals while some are just working for economic reasons.

Just visit the NRD office,KK to see how perfunctory is the process of issuing MyKard to dubious looking characters. On one visit I saw 3 persons being sworn in as Citizens in one hour period.
They were all Suluks from Mindanao. There is a plot of huge proportions here. I also met a few of them in Ampang with Mykads.

those bajaus/malays of sulu sultanate/Moros have considered sabah as part of their territory for centuries. Due to colonialism, their "nusa" have been divided into spanish/ british /dutch territories.
Now, someone, whose descendants probably came into sabah early last century, are calling some of these people as foreigners.
The state of sabah has the power to eject these people out, and a peninsular guy is treated as a foreigners in sabah and requires a work permit for employment there.
This is a sabah problem. No peninsular guy will be able to resolve this issue. If a citizenship is granted, it is by consent of sabah authorities.

It is all very simple. Sabahans are cheap and easy to buy. Sabahans have made themselves so.

The civil service has be UNOised to do tyhe dirty on Malaysians in general and Sabahans have let Malaysians down. We said get rid of UMNO.BN but they somehow get conned and ditch Pakatan. Serve the Sabahs right and I ahve no sympathy for Sabahans.

Through the UMNOised civil service, UMNO grant citizenships to muslim and register them as malays, thus inceasing the malay population with having having to **** and make babies. It happens not only in Sabah but also on the peninsula.

From 45-50%, the malay population jumped to 60-65% and the advantage is that they now say they are 65 instead of 45 and thus 45% get to bargain for 65%. Almost 45% extra gain in everything.

The foreigners given the ICs are malays but not given their share of goodies. Besides, what about the money that the foreigners pay to get the iCs? RM500 per person for 3 million people is RM1.5 BILLION. Tis is a n awful lot of money and it goes to their pocket.

Sabahans, wake up. We have to change government. We must get rid of UMNO. We must consign UMNO to the scrapheap of oblivion. I believe that Sabahans are not as despicable as to continue to embrace a party like UMNO which is corrupt and rotten to the core.

It is a known fact that Umno politicians use evil to make political gains. Just like those Umno politician like Nazri Aziz's uncle Mazlan Talib who used the services of Bomoh Mona Fendey which cost him his life. It is no surprise the likes of Rosmah Mansor and Najib Razak may be turning to the occult for this reason...More http://*********.********.com/...html#links
