I have been upset by both the announcements made by Pas President Abdul Hadi Awang and its Youth Chief Nasrudin Hassan yesterday.

Hadi’s against the removal of 30% bumiputra quota and the proposal to have “intellectual discussions” with UMNO Youth have created shockwaves and uncertainty.

Both these announcements have gone against the Pakatan Rakyat’s spirit of collective decision making and common stand for a fair, equal and just society.

Due to the unprecedented successful cooperation and subsequent victory of Pakatan Rakyat during the 308 which brought about a political tsunami that has put Barisan Nasional under intense and great pressure. Thus, this has further pushed Barisan Nasional government to liberalise the nation’s economic policies which is a beneficial move to all Malaysians regardless of race and religion.

Hadi’s stand on the removal of the 30% Bumiputra equity is thus no different from past UMNO led government policy. We wish to see Hadi’s stand on the removal of 30% Bumi quota be reconsidered or at least further clarify what is his actual stand. His stand is questionable now as to whether he is sincere about equality among Malaysians regardless of racial background or merely relabeling and rebranding UMNO policy.

Furthermore, PAS top leaders have openly rejected the “unity talk” with UMNO, why the PAS Youth still insist to have another round of “intellectual discussions” with UMNO Youth?

Is PAS Youth acting on the unity talk independently or with blessing from the PAS top leadership?

The stand of PAS Youth is still questionable as it indicates that they are still unsure of themselves as to whether to give a wholehearted, unwavering and sincere support to Pakatan Rakyat or merely a marriage of convenience.

If some of the PAS’s Youth leaders insist on having “intellectual discussions” with UMNO Youth without the collective consensus and blessing of PR, then the impression given to the PR supporters will be worrisome and confusing on what PAS actually is standing for.

UMNO has been attempting unrelentingly and persistently since after the GE 2008 to topple Pakatan Rakyat and it is now taking an advantage of the Umno-PAS Youth “intellectual discussions” to sow disunity in Pakatan Rakyat so that public confidence in Pakatan Rakyat will be eroded.

Hadi Awang and Nash, what are you guys trying to prove??? To be above Keadilan, and DAP?? If you are not capable of keeping your promise and abide by the coalition's rules and regulation, it is as good as dead come the next GE for PAS. Get out from PR, and join the UMNO/BN evil regime for all we care!!!

Cepat lupa daratan, sebelum 12th GE, you both were nobody, when you are now bathing in the limelight, you dah ubah, seperti kacang lupakan kulit. Without the votes from the non-Malays and without your sugar-coated promises towards the rakyat, we will never voted for you!!!

You betray us big time!!!

shamsulunos, the act of dispute among political partners paled in comparison to the crime committed by traitors who backstabbed those who place their trust in their hand!

A dispute does not involve betrayal, but a traitor's motive is beyond redemption!!!

What Thomas Soo and Kedah DAP did is nothing short of betrayal because it will lead to enemies coming in and causing more difficulty, the person who opened the gate to allow the barbarians to come is is a traitor in my book.. even if you don't think he is

PAS Youth and UMNO Youth Intellectual Discussions

PY: How much are you offering us if we join UMNO to form the Unity Government?
UY: Hmmm... How about 25 million?
PY: What? Only 25 million? Same as what the katak Hee getting. Come on I sure you can do better than that.
UY: Ok, ok, ok! 25 million and katak Hee to service each and every one of you until you satisfied!
PY: DEAL!

Depressing. As per George Owell's "Animal Farm" the leaders of the revolution, the pigs, leaders against the exploiting farmers, are beginning to look more and more like the farmers they overthrew. I hope the rest of the PAS members should learn from this book. If they dont, it will be like paraphrasing "The king is dead, long live the king" to "BN is dead, long live BN". Looks like we will never be able to get past race and religion, for the common good. I think I will go for a bottle of beer, no, make it a bottle of vodka.

To be pigs or farmers? The answer is obvious.
