Kawasan telah dibahagikan kepada 3 block:

- Block A-18

- Block B-17

- Block C-19

Diuruskan secara bersama oleh Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority (MTJA), dengan setiap Negara menguasai 50% dari sumber hydrocarbon yang ditemui di JDA , sumber Gas Asli dikawasan tersebut dianggarkan 9.5 Tcf (Trillion cubic feet).

Spekulasi dari para penganalisa mengatakan kemungkinan besar simpanan Gas Asli dikawasan tersebut mungkin mencecah hingga 24 Tcf.

Block A-18 dikendalikan oleh The Carigali-Triton Operating Company (CTOC) iaitu sebuah syarikat kerjasama antara Petronas Carigali dan Hess.

Manakala bagi Block B-17 dan C-18 dikendalikan oleh Carigali-PTTEP Operating Company (CPOC), satu syarikat kejasama antara Pengeluar Minyak Nasional dari kedua-dua Negara yang terlibat dalam kerja-kerja pencarian dan pengeluaran dikawasan tersebut.

Dalam bulan Mac 2005 Carigali-Triton Operating Company (CTOC), usahasama antara Petronas Carigali dan Hess telah memulakan pengeluaran dari JDA di Block A-18 yang dianngarkan mempunyai simpanan sebanyak 2.8 Tcf, jumlah pengeluaran bagi sehari adalah disekitar 390 MMcf (Million cubic feet) dan pengeluaran dijangka meningkat sehingga 590 MMcf sehari pada April 2007.

APA YANG KERAJAAN SEMBUNYIKAN DARI RAKYAT KELANTAN

Petronas mengesahkan bahawa operasi GAS ASLI di BLOK A 18 sudah bermula menerusi Syarikat Carigali HESS.

- Petronas memegang 50% saham di dalam syarikat tersebut menerusi Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd dan 50% lagi dipegang oleh Aremada Hess Inc.

- Sekarang ini, operasinya mengeluarkan 6,000 tong GAS ASLI sehari.

- Jarak Blok A18 adalah lebih dekat ke Kota Bharu daripada di hantar ke Kerteh dan Songkla.

- Kerajaan BN bagaimanapun memilih pendaratan GAS ASLI itu dibuat di Songkla walaupun kosnya lebih tinggi akibat jarak yang jauh itu.

Menerusi penerokaan GAS ASLI di Blok A 18, setiap hari, Petronas sepatutnya membayar rakyat Kelantan royalti yang bernilai RM512,000.00 (RM512 ribu) sehari dan ini bererti Kerajaan Kelantan seharusnya mendapat pendapatan tambahan dari royalti GAS ASLI yang bernilai RM186,880,000 (RM186 juta) setahun.

Btw, i am a highly paid oil and gas specialist working for a canadian company on a massive E&P project in China; travelling around the world frequently. And I pray a lot; never missed my 5 times a day obligatory prayers. And it is not only me, other staffs do that as well.

What on earth are you talking about?

You should travel to Brunei, Kuwait, Baharin, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Those workers in the management team and the laborers take time off to pray on rotation basis. When one group is praying the others are working as usual. It only take about 10 to 15 minutes to do so. The day shift only pray 'zuhur', they can perform 'asr at home. Sometimes they pray during the launh hours and this does not effect the working hours. The night shift staff pray during their dinner break.

Next time you wish to attack a religion please do some homework . . .!

And please. . ., use your brain and not your kneecap to do the thinking when you are typing on the keyboard!

It is better to keep quiet and people thinking that you are a fool than actually opening your mouth and confirms people's perception.
