Unity Government: Academic Discussions?

The concept of unity government which had plagued Pas and Pakatan Rakyat for some time was rendered to mere “academic discussions” by President Pas Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi who made a turn-about on his controversial pro-unity government stand.

In contrast to the seriousness of the open criticism of Pas Spiritual Leader Nik Aziz that those who supported Abdul Hadi‘s proposal to form a unity government with Umno were “boneka Umno” (Umno puppets), the way Hadi wash his hands of the issue was so absurd and irresponsible.

Rais Yatim, member of Umno Supreme Council came to Hadi’s help to criticize Nik Aziz as being exposing the true colours of most of the Malay leaders from the opposition who were not sincere in fighting for Islam as religion of harmony and unity, they simply pay lip-service with empty rhetoric.

Hadi Awang and his deputy Nasharudin Mat Isa were categorized as far-sighted leaders while others were just practicing populist politics. Their supports of the idea of unity government were praised as valuable measure taken by the respected statesmen. The “boneka” images of those who had supported the idea were moulded by the champion propagandist of Umno himself.

Amidst the political and economic crises of our country, it was unthinkable that Pas’s President and his followers still were at leisure to take part in “academic discussions” which in fact might split Pas into two factions, one pro-unity government and the other against it.

Seems like after the academic polls by MCA , now we have ACADEMIC talk on UNITY. I wonder if our current Government is also an ACADEMIC one till the next GE when the real one will run the country.

By the way are we facing an "Academic Economic" porblem as well???

No talks held with UMNO will be just academic in nature. In what way academic? You mean like going back to studying? UMNO is teaching PAS leaders what? Religion?
I thought PAS are more knowledgeable in religious matters. Most likely they are discussing get-power-quick or get-rich-quick schemes.

There are those who put on a mantle of religiousity but inwardly are full of wrongful desires and greed. Or else why talk with your enemy who is so tainted with corruption.

These top leaders have shown VERY CLEARLY in their action they are not honest and cannot be trusted .
I definitely wouldn't vote for such a party who is double-headed.
Those who still support PAS should stop until PAS's stand is clear.
The only person who can be trusted to put things right within the party is Nik Aziz.

It is disgusting to tolerate such betrayal which is passed off lightly as "academic." I don't know about you but I am not fooled!!

Looks like 'free money' already started flowing into PAS. PAS should have confessed about its infatuation for umno before the last GE. Its not too late. Enjoy it while it last. Lets see what happens after next election. Hope Tok Guru abandon this rat infested ship (PAS) and aboard new ship (PKR or PR). hadi and nasha are no different than from pimps from Jalan Alor.

Wak ulang lagi...
Wak fikirlah....
When Rasulullah was offered wealth, title, control and power by the the Quraish, he rejected them. Why? If Rasulullah practising politics like Hadi and the gang, he will grab the offer. But Rasulullah rejected it, Why?... Wak leave to the reader to answer that.
Now about the unity government, the situation is almost similar, Hadi and the gang might think that they will be given the control of the government and have the power. But what kind of power or control will they have?
Can they fight graft, nepotism, cronyism, for example, when the very people they shared power with, practising all that. They will not have the political will, guts and high moral that required to eradicate all that ills.
And that is only 3 examples, what about other crimes involving UMNO and their people starting from the very top, the president, through the gurkhas.
We are talking about building better future for Malaysian and in particulars for Wak, for my children and grandchildren. We have to fight for freedom of speach, better democratic system, fight graft, fight nepotism, fight cronyism, fight against all social ills.
Unfortunately all social ills that we want to eradicate are been practiced by UMNO and too in-grain in them that removing the ills will kill UMNO.
Now think what happen if Hadi and the gang is sleeping with UMNO, how will they fight all the ills while leaving UMNO intact... Think

Dear Pakatan Rakyat leaders,

Please be VERY VERY careful with these Hadi and Nasharudin characters. They seems very un-sincere about PR pact.

Watch out!

Is Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi and his deputy Nasharudin Mat Isa stupid or ignorance?

It is obvious in the last PAS General Assembly, they rejected the unity talk. Those are merely among the votes of Malays in PAS. It is like 60-40 not in favour of unity talk to UMNO. Try polling in PKR and DAP, it will be some like 70-30 for PKR and 95-5 for DAP. Assuming PAS represent Malays population and DAP represent the non-Malay Population. Then the 60% Malay votes will be 36% to Non-unity talk and 24% to unity talk and the 40% non Malay votes will be 38% for non-unity talk and 2% for unit talk. 36% 38% give 74%. So 74% of Malaysians are against the talk.

Tell me what on earth these two PAS leaders were thinking. Nevermind, try taking it to a new level and will we see what happen to PAS in the next general election.
