Fuh. So many comments on my last 2 articles. Got attacked from the right, got attacked from the left.
But as so many comments were bordering on seditious with ParpuKari getting vulgar, I decided I do not need this. Your free to believe what you want to believe. You can believe that pigs can fly, you can believe whatever, but if you choose to disagree, IN MY BLOG, you disagree with a degree of respect to ME the BLOG OWNER!
First I want to attack Parpu Kari. Parpu Kari's blog states clearly he supports Ketuanan Melayu. Today, for the first time, I also agree that the country is founded on the principles of Ketuanan Melayu and then he goes and attacks me like crazy.
Why? Because I said Dr Mahathir is not telling the truth.
Why do I say that. When he was the Prime Minister, how many times did Dr Mahathir actually make it clear that Ketuanan Melayu is the basis of the country. His favorite refrain was "dalam negara majmuk, kita bersyukur kerana tiada ketengangan/ rusuhan kaum." When did he mention that he Malaysia was founded on Ketuanan Melayu? So now after he is out of power, he attacked Pak Lah night and day claiming that "hak hak orang Melayu dicabar." So why when he was in charge, did he not tell this in plain English or plain Malay? That is the fundamental of my point. He must have made it clear what were the principles he was governing by.
Number II - You decide whether Dr Mahathir is telling lies based on these statements and or notion. READ MORE HERE

He often said that Malays could rule Malaysia without non-Malays but because they believed in 'power-sharing', they were willing to compromise. Now isn't the subtext 'Ketuanan Melayu' and a disregard for non-Malay sense of 'belonging' to Malaysia?
Mahathir would often remind how 'generous' the Malays were towards 'others' and were allowed to be taught in their own langauge and have Chinese names unlike in other countries like Indonesia where Chinese had to have Indonesian names and were not allowed to promote their mother tongue.
Mahathir was a Machiavellian master of psychology. He created a 'tongkat mentality' in the Malay psyche to make them insecure and dependent on UMNO. This stunted and parochialised the Malay mind. He declared Malaysia 'an Islamic State' illegally, further dividing Malaysian society only to reinforce 'Ketuanan Islam'.
The irony is that the Malay elite were never pure Malay, if ever there is such an entity. Mahathir's grandfather was an immigrant from India yet he could play the 'Malay Ultra' without batting an eyelid. He is whole modus operandi was based on a lie. It is no surprise that his policies corrupted every institution of democratic governance in Malaysia.
Mahathirism has been a terrible curse on Malaysia.
