BN Menteri Besar Zambry Kadir has tried to argue his way out of trouble, saying that in a democracy, the majority ruled.

He was referring to his coalition’s hold on 31 seats - 28 of its own and three belonging to Independents Hee Yit Foong, Mohd Osman Jailu and Jamaluddin Radzi. The Pakatan has the remaining 28 seats.

“In the running of a democracy we cannot allow the tyranny of the minority to decide for the majority,” Zambry told reporters.

But what he did not mention was that the status of three Independents are still being challenged in the courts. The trio were suspended for breaching House rules and while  the Federal Court has been persuaded to give an interpretation that they should not have been suspended, it did not issue any order to lift the suspension.

As such, the Pakatan deems that they are still suspended until further court clarification.

Although Zambry spoke about “the majority rules”, he forgot to mention the storm of calls from the Perak people for fresh election. This clamouring for state-wide polls has been backed up by independent surveys that have been carried out.

Avoiding fresh polls at all costs

Zambry and his boss Prime Minister Najib Razak have resorted to all ways and means - fair or foul - to avoid polls as they have lost in four out of the past five by-elections. The general verdict amongst the public is that they will lose Perak if polls are called.

Zambry, who led a revolt of the assembly when Sivakumar left the hall briefly to escort the Regent of Perak to the royal suite, also justified his act of pushing through a motion to remove Sivakumar as Speaker.

“Sivakumar instead of asking the 10 to leave should have called for prayers and the royal address to start the assembly,” he said.

However, the Pangkor MP sidestepped questions on why the sergeant-at-arms refused to respect Sivakumar’s authority as Speaker. Siva had asked security to remove Zambry and nine other disqualified assemblymen from the hall, but they refused to obey him.

Zambry also tried to boomerang back the blame for instructing the secretariat staff to switch off Sivakumar’s microphone.

“Every time I tried to speak they came over and tried to stop me. You are asking about the microphone being switched off when you should go back to the basic issue, the Speaker didn’t respect the court ruling,” dodged Zambry.

Perhaps he didn’t realise it, but his answer was also a confession that he did order the secretariat staff to meddle with the Speaker’s powers.

Zambry also conveniently forgot to mention that Sivakumar had clearly spelt out the reasons for asking him and his nine colleagues to leave. It was because their court cases were still pending and as such, their suspensions still valid. They had no right to enter the hall in the first place but again, security ignored Siva’s instructions to bar them.

Zambry incurred notoriety last week when he tried to ban the press from covering the event. It has been widely expected that he would flout state rules in order to cling to power.

Malaysia, We have world class buildings, airports, highways, multimedia supercorridors, smart tunnels, crooked bridge etc........but the mentality of the authorities of 4th world!!!!!. When do we learn that it is not the facade that maketh a country developed, it is the level of mentality of its people that detrmines status of a developed country. Come 2020 Malaysia would probably be more backward than Zimbawe or Rwanda.

Sure, if scrambling for power through scuffles, subterfuges and animal savagery constitutes democracy.

"In the running of a democracy we cannot allow the tyranny of the minority to decide for the majority," Zambry told reporters.

That is an apt self-description that was allowed to materialize.

Here is the Mamak game plan folks:

1) Use the faltering economy as a pretext to throw out Najib, and replace him with Muhyiddin.

2) Appoint Mukhriz as DPM.

3) Use public anger against the royalty to create an incident i.e. a physical retribution against a member of the royalty to aim for emergency rule.

Alternatively,

4) If the Royalty strikes back, whip up public anger against the royalty to aim for a Republic Malaysian. It will be Mamak Republic, similar to a banana republic.

It is a zero sum game for the royalty, but then how many Perakians actually turned up to protest the unlawful power coup?

Not only the Perakians, but also voters in other states should express through the next general Election, their displeasure of Barisan's underhand immoral tactics.

The Pakatan Rakyat should work very hard daily to achieve the desired results. Let the Courts sort out the matter, whether or not in Pakatan's favour. But Pakatan Rakyat's work for the next General Election must start right now. Teach the power grabbers a lifetime lesson.

We are now the laughing stock of the world - no thanks to UMNO/BN! It is such a ridiculous situation that had happened today and having the royal presence acting as if nothing had happened has made it even worse!

And the police, well!

No wonder we have pregant women killed by snatch theives. No wonder the Mat Rempits are flourishing in our country. No wonder crime is escalating daily.

Don't you have better things to do? Like looking after the safety of ALL Malaysians? Did you see yourselves on TV today? Ordering the arrest of this person and that person? Sheer Arrogance and stupidity!

You are a disgrace to Malsysians and Malaysia. As a lawmaker, you are to enforce the law and to ensure the safety of Malaysians, the very people who are paying your salary and not acted in such a bias manner and as if your actions are in accordance with the law. It is so shameful and sickening to see all these on TV.

And the 'new' MB. Hellooooo???

What are you trying to say - that you are right and they are wrong? Tell you what. To add legit to your 'government' - why not just call for a fresh election NOW and you will find out. Otherwise, Malaysians will see you as just another cartoon character. Brainless, animated and stupid! Please do not insult the intelligence of the average Malaysians by your half cooked explanation.

It is a real charade for what had happened in Ipoh today. What you all in UNMNO/BN have done have angered a lot of Malaysians. We will not forget today. We will not forget the stupidity that was created. We will not forget your arrogance and high handed-ness and the total disregard of the law and turning peaceful Ipoh into a war zone.

And, WE WILL NOT FORGET to vote the first chance we get! And there is no prize for guessing who we will NOT vote for!

This illegal Mamak MB Zombie already plan to screw the Raykat last week by allowing only UM-NO media to cover this illegal sitting. He already plan to use police thugs and force, hoping the UM-No medias will cover him up.

What this power crazy idiot didn't aware is that 'the whole fiasco is being shown to the world through live telecast with today technology. Now everybody knows how he got the MB position. This mamak idiot Zombie thought dressing Ganesan as Speaker will do the trick but dressing up a donkey with a speaker's robe is nothing but still a donkey as the Official Speaker has not resigned.

Why can't he wait for the next ERECTION...er..election. Maybe he might be impotent to get erected...I mean elected by then. Damn you, Zombie.

Perhaps this is not the best of times for us to get biblical - or whatever script that holds your fancy - but we as a nation need HELP.

Even at the worst of times, religion to me is a private affair but how I wish the adage "the lord giveth, the lord taketh away" plays out in this most dire an hour.

How I wish Zambri wakes up tomorrow with a yet undisclosed ailment that renders him mute while retaining normal bodily functions. Jelapang Hee develops an allergy that makes the sun's ray lethal to her skin while Osman Jailu and Jamal(of sedekah sek infamy) both develop the mother of all hard on's - a massive erection that holds firm 2 nights and 3 days - before both decide to do away with their member, leaving them physically and mentality inadequate !

I guess what's done is done but after standing his ground for a good 5 hours, Sivakumar's removal was most crucial to UMNO. The honourary Speaker was forcibly manhandled by members of the Special Branch in disguise, a most blatant trespass on his person and also an act that violated ALL Malaysians.

I weep for us all. It was most uncivilised, UMNO's conduct to utilise force to legitimise their 'chosen' State government. It pains me, the ex-Lord President and son both gave their stamp of approval as if they didn't realise the mayhem in the Dewan. Of all people, ex-Lord President Azlan Shah should know better.

Jest aside, I guess today was the day we were all royally FU*CKED while Perak dies screaming.

As a private citizen, I feel sorry for Mr.Speaker Sivakumar. I'm so embarrass the manner in which he was physically thrown down like a dog soon after his body was out of the confines of the Dewan.

As speaker, the Dewan is his domain and his authority, second to none. His position demands that all necessary decorum and protocol that befits his office is given due regard and adhere to at all times when the Dewan convenes.

P/S Mr. Speaker Sivakumar,

There is no pardon for UMNO's conduct. The manner by which they stormed the Dewan was an act of treason. Rest assured, time will allow us all to address the wrong and for you to reclaim your legitimate position.

Again, let me just say I wasn't much help in protecting the sanctity of the Dewan and our Constitution. For that, I apologise on behalf of the ex-Lord President, his son, the good people of Perak and all right minded Malaysians.

Solemn regrets Mr.Speaker.

It is not merely of some importance, but is of fundamental importance that justice should not only be done, but should manifestly and undoubtedly be seen to be done.
