Out of interest, I recently attended one of these training sessions for one of the Opposition parties.
They need over 100 observers in the area involve... Six young men turned up!! So much for fire in your belly!!!

Right up near the top of the list of things to do handed out by the EC was a dress code that stipulated ... no t shirts, and no sneakers (I think)

I nearly pissed myself trying not to laugh... Is this the same EC that would appear to be corrupted at every turn... the same organisation which has been toying with democracy for so many years

Other than knowing how to rig the polls my impression was that the EC didnt have a clue about how to run an election

Hi People of MAFREL,

There is one thing that you can do to help us see if our election will be free way before the event itself.

That is to list out all the Parliamentary seats, along with their voter size and incumbent party.

Then we can let all Malaysians see how fair the election to be (as well as past ones) will be.

Our SPR is so transparent that it is close to no use on this matter :

Thanks

I do encourage my fellow Malaysian to attend Mafrel training session and register as a volunteer. Among others, you will be exposed on the tricks how the rakyat had been cheated by BN all these years. You will understand better how they manipulate postal vote, electoral list etc...and how to prevent it from happening.

You will be required to be on duty during the election day itself only (one day). so no worry that you cant help your parties before or after the election. Please choose to be the volunteer nearer to the area where you cast your vote hence you wont miss to vote yourself.

Mafrel will be conducting a training for volunteer for the central region very soon. please contact the organiser ASAP. Worth to say that Mafrel had been officially invited to observe the conduct of general election in few countries before such as Sri Lanka, Thailand, Afghanistan etc...
