Somewhere in February 2007, about ten of the most sought after Malay bloggers were called to attend a meeting, few blocks from Bukit Aman.

In bloggers term those days, this is the most secretive meeting ever arranged amongst blogger. Nobody knew who else would attend and who organised the meeting.

As I sat there, I saw all the Malay big guns in the local blogosphere scene plus one non-blogger who sat quietly at one corner.

The agenda is to topple Abdullah’s government using a well fine tune orchestrated informal movement within the bloggers circle.

Each and everyone who had spoken on that particular night, somehow, taken unrequested oath and swore that they are doing this with clear conscience that it is about sending Abdullah’s packing in PRU 12 and not about bringing Barisan Nasional down.

Most of the attendees were Umno members, and it is patently obvious that Rocky Bru and Co was there. Perhaps even A. Kadir Jasin. They are Mahathir die-hards and look forward to the ascension of Mukhriz as DPM soon enough.

With bloggers like these, freedom needs no enemies. Both Kadir and Rocky wants another crack at helming the NST.

No wonder we are stuck with Najib. Their plan to topple Badawi succeeded smoothly, and only dumb Malaysians lapped their filth up hook, line and stinker.

What happened to all those conspiracy theories about Khairy and his Singaporean handlers?

If bloggers can see that it is the younger generation that constitutes the backbone of the opposition, why isn't Pakatan taking this opportunity to spread the word to this group of youngsters prior to 2103?

C'mon, DSAI, set your youth machinery into action NOW before it is too late. We can take another four years of tyranny but not any more after that.

Bodowi, Father of Unity? HAil Bodowi, what a sick joke! What a pathetic twisted logic!

It is like what the right wing Japanese claimed, that Asians should thank Japan for liberating them from Western powers! These Japanes talked as if they invade Asia because they want to liberate Asians, the fact was they saw opportunity and they wanted to snatch territories from Western powers!

Similarly , no body should hail Bodowi. Bodowi cheated and lied to MAlaysians, he betrayed Malaysians, he is a false imam who fool all of us. If he is honourable, he should have used the people mandate (biggest ever given to a PM) to push through his reform to fulfill his promise. He could have a fighting chance, with almost the entire RAKYAT behind him . Even if had failed, even if he had died fighting for the country and Rakyat, it would have been the natural and honourable thing to do for a leader. A leader is expected to do that.

But, this chicken shit is no honourable man. This chicken shit capitulated so easily and so willing and just gave up, and he let loose the orgy of looting of our country, he just slept through his entiree term of office and let crooks and evil men of all kind destroying our country's every important institutions. Now, he is even all smile in handing over our country to a highly corrupt and evil man, a high murder suspect to lead our country!

sonofmalaysia, it may be a twisted logic, but kickdefella is correct in his observation. Back then, Abdullah was a uniting factor for all the bloggers regardless of camps. And everyone was on the same page.

RPK warned us then that the tsunami was not because Pakatan was good, but because of some help from UMNO insiders. From the blogging perspective, that is true as kickdefella has also pointed out here. But the ripples turned in a tsunami which even the bloggers themselves were caught unaware. The rakyat's aspirations have taken over, but with certain bloggers (you know who...) this is not their ultimate aim. They were only interested in getting rid of Abdullah, and to reconstitute the old regime.

So, this time around we cannot be so sure that PRU13 is a given to PR. You can bet that clampdowns will be made, while spin-doctoring will be in full force coming not just from the MSM, but from the blogosphere as well. The blogs will no longer be a clear cut distinction between truth in it vs falsehood of the MSM. The Mahathir loyalists will be just as strong and savvy in the blogosphere.

I suggest that we the denizens of the Net starts to sprinkle our daily dosage of blog readings with some salt and pepper from now on. What appears may no longer be what it is even in the blogs. Example: do you really believe that Mahathir is whacking Najib with all those statements that sounds sweet to the rakyat? Not at all, he was actually guiding him! Be forceful, clamp down, annihilate your enemies, etc.... were the essence of all his statements.
