Abdullah and Samy ignore Makkal Sakti at their own peril PDF Print
Sunday, 27 January 2008 16:18

Approval rating for Abdullah as PM among Indians plunged by 54% from 82% to 38% before and after the Nov. 25 Hindraf demonstration and would have plunged even lower as evident from the 30% to 50% lower turnout of the Batu Caves Thaipusam crowd

{mosgoogle right} Today's press reported that Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak said in Seremban that the people must reject leaders who fail to perform when given the opportunity.

Apart from aiming his shots at the Opposition, many must be wondering who in the ruling coalition could Najib be directing his fire.

Could he be referring to Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, who is fighting for his political life after being MIC President and sole Indian Cabinet Minister for over 28 years – and who was recently snubbed internationally when the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M. Karunanidi refused to grant him "an audience" despite Samy Vellu waiting for an appointment from him for three days in Chennai or after following Karunanidi to New Delhi!

Or could Najib be referring to Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who, to use Lingam-lingo, "looks like the Prime Minister, speaks like the Prime Minister, but nobody can 100% say is the Prime Minister"?

Abdullah has been Prime Minister for four years and his four-year report card is one of dismal failure.

Malaysians now feel more unsafe in the streets, public places and even privacy of their homes because of endemic crime as compared to when Abdullah became Prime Minister four years ago.

Corruption in Malaysia has become even more rampant and uncontrollable today as compared to four years ago when Abdullah started his premiership with the pledge to make anti-corruption the distinctive hallmark of his administration.

Malaysians today have never been more disunited, alienated and polarized, particularly over religion, than when he first became Prime Minister four years ago.

Today, the marginalized groups, particularly the Malaysian Indians who have become the new underclass, felt never felt more aggrieved, discriminated against and marginalized!

This is why Abdullah's approval rating had plunged in four years from a high of 91% when he became Prime Minister to a low of 61% in December last month, according to an opinion poll conducted by Merdeka Centre.

Even more serious, Abdullah's approval rating among Indians plunged by a shocking 54% before and after the Hindraf demonstration on Nov. 25 last year.

In Sept. 07, Abdullah's approval rating among the Indians polled stood at 82% but by Dec. 14, when the last poll was conducted, his approval rating among the Indians have plummeted to 38% - registering one of the sharpest drops in so short a time.

However, an opinion poll conducted now would show an even lower approval rating of below 30% or lower for Abdullah among Malaysian Indians, if the 30% to 50% lower turnout of the Thaipusam crowd at Batu Caves last Wednesday is any indication.

Makkal Sakti (People's Power) is in manifestation throughout the country and Barisan Nasional leaders, whether Samy Vellu or Abdullah ignore it at their own peril.

Lim Kit Siang

Bodohwi,

We were curious about the Election,
You went on to announce your erection,

We are dead worried of our protection,
You add on to our suffocation,

When we feel we have suffered too long,
You unashamedly want in to prolong,

We are being laughed at by the world surround,
It's high time the people turn around,

We have no more doubt,
We'll vote the BN out!!!!

It seems the new underclass Indians who BN had always faithfully relied for their undivided votes will backfire. This will be the final DEMISE of BN in Malaysian history since BN has an uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt administration.

The rakyat's mindset have changed.

I say Makkal Sakti is not enough. The Indians need Anwar to move the Malay votes. Anwar need to
1) Attack Mat Deros, PKFZ, Altantuya in Selangor
2) PGCC in Penang
3) Musa Aman wealth in Sabah
4) Eusoff Chin-Fairuz-Lingam Tape video saga in the rest of the country.

"Today's press reported that Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak said in Seremban that the people must reject leaders who fail to perform when given the opportunity."

Bodowi fails miserably when given the opportunity. As Finance minister, he fails to control inflation, he screws up all Petronas money, he passes all projects to his cronies, he screws up all our tax money. As Internal Security minister, he let the police continue their brutality and abuse of power, he fails to establish IPCMC to check the Police, he gags the media when they wanted to speak the truth. As PM, he couldn't care less about the Indians and Chinese, he lets the UMNO warlords screws up the ordinary Malays, he fails to transform the public service which is still as inefficient, unfair and corrupt. And the list goes on and on. He basically sleeps when given the opportunity. Reject Bodowi, Reject BN, Vote Opposition.

What a stupid thing for him to say. He is number two in the government. If anyone did a bad job, he has to share the blame. The first to boot out is Badawi. The second must surely be him.

Looks like the Chinese and the Indians will give BN the run for their money this time round. PKR and PAS has the work cut out for them. But they better thread carefully. If PAS keeps harping on Islamisation, it may risk alienating the kinds of Malays PKR is trying to court - those who are ashamed of NEP, and therefore likely to be the more moderate and progressive types.

Yes! We must reject leaders who cannot perform.

And the majority of them are the Umnoputras !

They are causing disunity among the people !
They are plundering the country into bankruptcy !
They do not care much about the other races !
They are discriminating the people !
They must never be trusted !

We must unite to reject them !

Uncle Lim,please use the following as your election manifesto:

They have destroyed the future of one generation.
Please vote to safeguard the future of our next generation.

Miwaki, and may be an imam in the Mesjid Ke-apa-lah Bat-as.

Anti Relon, in malay it "Sakti Mekal" .... taken from some indian language, as usual.

His popularity is going down another 40% when election date is announced.

The JKR labourer's popularity is going about 400% after the election. Knowing ahead of his Snail River coming election performance, he has applied to be a doorboy for M Karunanidhy, the Global Leader of Tamils. The Nazi Taximan will be the de facto driver of the official Ambassador car.

The Nazi bulldog (or is it a boxer) had been told by the Sleepingman to just shut-up and not pass stupid comments on The Law Expert Royal's speech. The dog has been chained to the Kangsar tree.

Actually if you really read in between the lines as what Najib say, then it is actually hinting all of you must throw out this Bodowi during the coming GE, so that he can take over as PM easily.

This election surely must be Najib's last stand.
When he ask us to reject people who don't perform, he is referring to the only person who is nationally and internationally known...his boss.
He wants the throne.
