Pakatan mulls emergency sitting to deny Zambry access to state funds PDF Print

(Suara keADILan) - Apart from tabling a vote of confidence in Menteri Besar Nizar Jamaluddin, the Pakatan Rakyat may also convene an emergency sitting of the Perak legislative assembly to cut off Umno-Barisan Nasional’s access to public funds for administration of the state.

“We do not rule out the possibility of tabling an emergency motion that the BN government is unconstitutional. Therefore it cannot be given any public funds for its administration,” said Nga Kor Ming, Perak DAP secretary.

The Pakatan and Umno-BN are at odds over who has control of the state government in Perak.

Taking into account the suspension of BN Menteri Besar Zambry Kadir and six ececutive councillors by the Perak state assembly Speaker, V Sivakumar, last week, the Pakatan has 28 seats versus the BN’s 21.

This would give the Pakatan the upperhand. However, despite the clear and public clamouring by Perakians for a snap election to choose the leadership they wanted, Zambry has refused to stand down.

Every which way but lose

Instead he has sought out legal advice from a top Queen’s Counsel in London to find a way out of the stalemate, a move that has drawn stinging criticism from both sides of the political divide, including former premier Mahathir Mohamad (www.chedet.com).

Said Mahathir, who still wields significant influence in Umno: “If the decision of the Speaker can be considered a crime, then what will happen when the Parliamentary Speaker suspends opposition members for whatever reasons?

“And this happens frequently. Will opposition members lodge police reports? If they can, then can we consider the police to have powers over the Parliamentary Speaker?”

Said Nga, who is also Taiping MP: “This also shows that Perak Umno does not understand that Malaysian constitutional law is to be interpreted by Malaysians.”

“This is done under the doctrine of constitutional supremacy and not parliamentary supremacy as practised by the United Kingdom.”

Zombie! if you want the Perakian to accept you as MB, then you have to respect the Perakian first.Let the snap election prove that you are worthy to be MB by the rakyat and for the rakyat, not by the UMNO-controlled Sultan for ONLY the UMNO Scumbags. So stop performing those Zombie's act of digging your own and UMNO's graves.

The only people effected are the rakyat. BN and Royalties still get paid from the Federal Tax money. So, do you think they care if this happens and which is a must because of the current situation.

To be expected! Zombie should sky-dive out of the plane to London and use his "Roti Jala" as a parachute ! These Retards should not be allowed to touch the money as they are illegally chosen. How can an Illegal State Govt. be tolerated and bank-rolled ?!! We, the Rakyat, will never tolerate that

If the self-proclaimed MB has any shame at all, please come to your senses. Stop wasting taxpayer's money asking a QC to interpret what our local Bar Council can do better. Stop trying to squeeze water out from stone. You claim you are for all races, please race back to Perak and get ready for the polls. Let the rakyat decide who they want as their MB. You can try but we will decide. Thats the constitution in layman terms. Sorry we cannot make it any simpler than that, and if you still cannot understand then you have no business in wanting to be MB.

To my fellow rakyat and Perakians,

IMHO, I think its right for Pakatan Perak govt to stop Zambry and his gang any access to public funds. We know only too well what will happen to those funds. And the money are our money - collected from licence fees, parking fines, house assessment, bill boards leases etc. Zambry and gang will use the funds to make a show of public donations to Chinese schools (paltry sums of RM10,000 here and there), purchasing bougainvilleas at exhorbitant prices to pant around the towns and city etc. But given the dire economic situation, we can ill afford this type of shit. We need the money to generate jobs and wealth within the state, to manage welfare etc. We can ill afford the use of the funds by Zambry as if he is handing out his own money to the people, making himself look good. No more of this shit, no more!!!

Even our 4th PM Mahathir feels SAD....Sad for him to now "Witness"....

But this is "Devine Intervention" at work to "Hear" this once "Great" man..... "Lamenting" NOW on the "Re-cycle of his Own Legacy" that he "Initiated" 22 years ago has become the "UMNO Ketetuanan Monster" that it is now !

Remember “What goes round, will come round to these Desperate UMNO Ketetuanan Beggars” - Past, Present & Future.

Desperate People, at Desperate Times, will RESORT to Desperate Henious Actions even if it means “Destroying” their “Honourable Family Legacy”, their own “MALAY MUSLIM HADHARI” party “UMNO” beyond “Redemption”, their Own Kind, this country & its Rayaat !

Through “Devine” intervention, UMNO, its Ketetuanan Leaders & their Lapdogs are now “Outdoing & Destroying” each other with their “Power, Greed & Henious Crimes” through "Gutter Politics" & their "Law of the Jungle".

Remember “What goes round, will come round to these Desperate UMNO Ketetuanan Beggars” - Past, Present & Future.

The “Opressors” will “FAIL” & God Almighty will ensure “Justice” will be done.

Zambry is the tresspasser, it is not right to let him have any access to Perak's coffer. It is everybody's knowledge that Perak belongs to Pakatan Rakyat no matter how UMNO regime tries to think that the state is theirs . Why do we have to welcome a thief disguises as MB from UMNO regime to steal rakyat's money??? PR and the speaker, be FIRM in your committment as the representatives of Perak people, do what is within the law, hang the police if they come running to bother you guys!!! When you are dealing with gangster-like police, behave like gangsters to chase them out from your offices!!!
