USNO managed to capture 16 seats, PBS 25, Pasok 1 and Berjaya was left with 6. After the annulment of the late night swearing-in of Tun Mustapha at the Istana, PBS formed the government. Riots broke out soon after.

The reasons for the riots and subsequent curfews in Kota Kinabalu was simple and straight-forward, PBS and USNO had a joint undertaking to topple Berjaya. When PBS had sufficient seats to form a government, they left USNO out of the equation. This angered the USNO supporters who took to the streets. This started when someone painted 2 crucifixes in red at the state mosque in Sembulan.

A subsequent march from the mosque a few days later was stopped by the police at Karamunsing for several hours. This led to the burning of many of the Karamunsing warehouses.

When a party such as UMNO has no principle, it's capable of doing anything even at the expense of sacrificing lives to save its own selfish interest and grip on power. UMNO can unleash the partisan Police, Army and racist NGOs to create unrest and turmoil to give it the legitimacy to clamp the ISA on dissidents. That's why it is extremely difficult to challenge UMNO's long list of abuses and usurping of the law even with demonstrations. This is a Govt condemned universally as the perpetrator of the wicket apartheid but in a different form - Malay Supremacy.

The way i see it, PBS got greedy and stab usno in the back afetr the results were known. Taht means the leadership of PBS cannot be trusted.
if they had shared power with usno, the opposition would have ruled sabah until today.

Yes, i remember the rioters threw stones at the Sacred heart church too..they were hoping that they will be a big riot so state of emergency will be declared to unseat the PBS government then...but sabahan didnt because we are not extremist about religion or race...This extremist culture is BN culture, they camouflage it with ketuanan melayu.

Many2 bad things were done by BN...13th May 1969 included..

USNO of yesteryear is like UMNO of today. THey were just a grouping of people out to grab power for their own kind. The UMNO culture of today is a direct continuity of USNO culture and characteristics. You remember the recent actions of Ahmad Ismail in Penang before Permatang Pauh by elecetion? They have no thinking caps. They do not know what is right and what is wrong. They do not know the principles of democracy.
To them democracy does not exist at all. They want everything for themselves and to themselves. Their belief is that Malaysia belongs to them because they have been winning election after election fpor the pasr 50 years, They have never know that when there is an election there are bound to be losers and winners.
Their mind is a one track mind . If we don't stand up to them in this Perak crisis, they will probably ruin our country of democracy.

I still remember how Datuk Haris fell to the ground and baptize himself in the fond accidentally when FRU rushed to him! What an embarrassing moment! It was a very funny scene watched on black and white TV colour.

Mustapa Harun the Suluk boy and Haris the Pusthun boy called the Golden Boys for converting people to Islam. Great persecution for the Kafir during that time-period. In other to get any aid-loan from government or even entering any government institutions must have Ibni or Bin Abdullah as surname.

Bottom line is: Malaya thinks that Sabah far behind from them in term of politic but the fact is Sabahans more advance than any independent pioneers in Malaysia.

THE CORRUPTED HISTORY OF SABAH has a bad habit of repeating itself all over the malazutland of bolehland. And all the things said in this article is 100% facts, yet until today, non of those who rioted and cheated the rakyats were ever arrested and sent to jail. The corrupt, the mafias and the greedy politicians are the heroes in this bolehcorruptland of Malazutland.
