Run-up to K. Terengganu by-election: Pas accuses BN of attempting to derail campaign

(NST) - After six days of unusual quiet, the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary by-election campaign began to heat up with accusations being hurled from one camp to the other.

With five days remaining to polling day, Pas went on the offensive yesterday, accusing the Barisan Nasional of attempts to derail their campaign efforts.

Pas cited poster sabotage and bids to close down a DAP operations centre in Kampung Cina, where the Chinese voters are seen as key to a victory.

State Pas Commissioner Datuk Mustafa Ali said a Multimedia Messaging System (MMS) clip had been making the rounds which showed its candidate, Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut, as saying that Pas was an unproductive party.

He claimed that his party workers had stumbled upon five men with walkie-talkies sticking BN posters over Pas ones.

Mustafa's deputy, Datuk Wan Abdul Mutalib Embong, said BN was attempting to portray the Pas government that ruled from 1999-2004 as a failed one.

"We implemented more social and welfare projects for the people during that time."

Wan Mutalib also referred to reports that accused Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said of personally ordering a DAP operations room in Kampung Cina to be vacated

In an immediate response, Ahmad denied any involvement in the matter.

Ah-Mad Said is a certified samseng. He used to challenge Mohd Endut to a duel outside the DUN and now he threatened the Chinese to "behave" otherwise he won't. He is going further by closing DAP operation centres. If this is not racism, how comes he can't dare that of PKR? After all PKR too is not contesting the seat! He wants the Chinese vote but humiliates them. Can you imagine the Chinese voting for him? That will be a curse.

They can play dirty but we can't.They try to arrest RPK but we never touch theirs.So this is the behaviour of babarians who are lawless.

As I have said many times, the problem with Bee-eNd is that they have the special gift of selecting 'thieves and gangsters' as leaders. In Permatang Pauh, we can thank Ahmad Ismail for the humiliation of BN. Now, in KT we can thank MB Said and Syed Albar for the Indians and Chinese votes.

The quality of BN leadership is getting worst by the year and they always have the knack to making the rakyats angry. Know that the Malaysian Chinese have been 'marginalized' for over 51 years, what is new to us? When have MCA ever helped us? They (MCA) and Gerakan are going extinct by GE13.

Deny Deny Deny ... always deny.. if not you.. who ask DAP to close down the operation center.. then who? Ask the IGP? please lar.. if you have the balls to do it.. then admit it...

Wanted to play God but dared not admit his action when the issue of DAP's closure erupted. Ahmad Said's dirty tactics have only played into the hands of DAP for the new MB's gangster-like treatment of DAP has antagonised the Chinese. If you read deeper into the lines, it was actually Ahmad's way of snubbing Pak Lah's crony Wan Ahmad Farid. TQ MB for helping PAS to win KT.

Asiana888, BN does not need special gift to select crooks and thieves cos they are all this kind only - from the scum pit, sprouting nothing good or positive.
