As usual, the media controlled or influenced by Umno are also using tricks.

For example, a few newspapers misreported that “Anwar says Umno is like Israel” when he did not actually say that! Tian Chua, the PKR info chief, has explained that Umno leaders twisted what Anwar actually said. Anwar was referring to the weak and corrupted leadership of certain Arab countries who failed to stand up to their Israeli neighbour. Yesterday, Tian Chua called on media which had reported that Anwar said Umno was like Israel to retract what they had written. Of course the media are unlikely to retract their misleading reports. One even published another report to make the opposition look silly.

Umno leaders don’t care what was or not said. They only want to confuse and divide the Malays in KT (and other Malaysians elsewhere).

For example “Do not stoop so low as to politicise the present sufferings of the Palestinians just to gain votes in the Jan 17 Kuala Terengganu by-election” says Umno vice president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to the Opposition. - - “Muhyiddin: Don’t politicise Gaza attacks”, The Star, Fri. 9 Jan. 2009.

Let us watch what happens when some dirty tricks backfire! Instead of voting BN, the voters may become so disgusted with BN’s dirty tricks that they vote Pakatan Rakyat (the PAS candidate) in KT parliamentary by-election.

the rakyat are immune to those old dirty tricks.its not gonna work for them anymore cos the voters from kt have made up their mind to vote for PR/PAS.HIDUP RAKYAT TANPA bn/umno.
