(The Star) Selangor Umno state liaison committee chairman Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad has denied that key members of the Petaling Jaya Selatan division had followed its former chief to join PAS.

Muhammad Taib said the departure of Datuk Zahar Hashim had not affected the unity of the division.

“He can make whatever claims he wants but the fact remains that the Petaling Jaya Selatan division is still in operation as usual as most of the committee members are still there,” he said when contacted.

Zahar, who had been suspended as division chief, quit the party and joined PAS last week.

He claimed that 13 of the division’s committee members and 28 branch leaders had joined him.

He said the state Umno met last night to discuss the issue.

Follow the money if they don't leave.
Everyone has a price, especially those from UMNO.

That Taib (who was seen digging food scaps, with his figers, from his teeth) is very similar in looks and metal capacity as one of my neighbours. He is an OKU too! This is no joke, but fact!
