CASE POSTPONED (RPK no need to go to court): UPDATED PDF Print

Malaysia Today

Raja Petra Kamarudin has been ordered to appear in court at 8.30am on Monday, 22 December 2008.

ASP Alzafny from the Dang Wangi Police Station phoned RPK a few minutes ago and said that a subpoena will be sent to his house later today.

RPK had earlier refused to accept the subpoena because it did not state the exact time and date he would be required to testify. ASP Alzafny said he would be informed of the exact time and date on Monday. RPK responded that he would give them half an hour, and if he is still kept hanging around longer than, that he will just go off and not hang around waiting to be called.

According to ASP Alzafny, the case is related to the police report made by Muhammad son of Muhammad against Malaysia Today some time last year. The police have decided, instead, to charge one reader, Syed Akbar Ali, who posted a comment in Malaysia Today.

The trial will be held at the Jalan Duta Court Complex.

Timely. All this just to prevent RPK from helping PAS campaign for the KT by-election. They know it's a cheap shot, but cheap shots are all they have. PAS can use those pathetic tactics by the police in their favour just in case RPK can't make it there.

As I say, built RPK a house so that he can stay next to the court and the police can save the summon, the fuel and the time .Since he is the record holder for the man who have the most court case, this is make sense.

Just in time to prevent RPK from going to the Kuala Trengganu by election activities. Looks like the BN is looking into many angles to purge him.

Are our judicial officers really working for justice to be seen or are they just playing second fiddle to the Powers that be? I am really pissed off! just holding my grit! Why is a person called RPK always hounded? and the robbers, thieves, scam kings, murderers all on the loose? Can't the Rulers too see this rot going on? After all the sword to see justice was passed on to MUSA with an oath of undertaking!

More reasons for the people Trengganu to vote PAS. Besides what is the use of all the commissions set up by Boodowi when we have PDRM & the judicial system working as cohorts to fix the good guy from the street. Our judicial system lacks indepednce & the judge should throw out cases that is wasting unnecessary public funds.

And this after the IO in Pete's sedition case can happily go off to Taiwan very well knowing that he was required to be in court today....leading to the Court postponing the case to February.

The standard operating procedures for PDRM have extended to become involved in politics, subservient to the UMNO-Coalition government instructions.

As the Internal Security Minister has pointed out, PDRM has executionary powers to detain anybody under ISA in collaboration with the AG's chambers.

As to the perpetual question why the top brass police officers especially the SB,soil their hands and taint their credibility in this kind of hand-in-glove political game plan with AG and UMNO government,it is a syndromatic disease that has become malignant.

They have lost track of their quinteessential role of maintaining law and order.
PEACE HILL must do some soul searching, if they ever want to value their honour, reputation, and integrity. For if they don't the taxpayers and the citizens will spit their saliva every time they pass by a policeman.

It is a sad episode for this 'glorious' men in blue.

I once read a book by Gavin Menzies 1421:The year China discovered the World. This theory states that the Ming empire has been sailing across the world 60-100 years b4 the Europeans. There's 1 part which says that the chinese has seen a kangaroo & they have brought it to Beijing's imperial court. Will we see a Kangaroo in our court? HAHAHA smilies/cheesy.gif, I think we got too much Kangaroo in Malaysian Court.

Never ending STUPIDITY ! BODOH LAGI this bunch of prosecutors on a witch hunt.

Someone please convey to the A-G, IGP and the sitting judge - Raja Petra does not own Malaysia Today. It is all readers, all Malaysians especially MT members who OWN the web site. And where is that 'Sor Hai' Gan ? I would love to hear the blabber that comes out of his mouth.

Have a g'weekend all
