Umno's intention to RIG out the Kuala Terengganu by-election PDF Print
Saturday, 06 December 2008 15:36

"The Umno controlled Election Commission (EC) today announced that the Kuala Terengganu (KT) by-election nominations will be held on Jan. 6 next year and polling on Jan. 17. This makes the KT by-election the only by-election in the nation's history when Umno was forced to use the maximum 2 months allowed in the event of a by-election. The late Razali died on Nov 28 and the voters will go to the polls on Jan. 17, 51 days after his death. Umno must be desperate indeed. This is in stark contrast to what the EC did in the Ijok by-election.

When the then state assemblyman for Ijok, Datuk K. Sivalingam died on 4 April, 2007 due to heart attack, nominations were held 2 weeks later and one week later on 28 April voters went to the polling centres. Therefore, 22 days after Sivalingam's death, Ijokians had a representative.

The EC Deputy Chairman, (Umnoputra) Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the EC's unprecedented 2 months maximum use is due to fears of weather conditions since the Meteorological Dept announced that Terengganu may experience "certain weather conditions in the near future." My ribs...I can't laugh anymore. Have you ever heard of such buffoonery? Weather conditions? Now, in what way does weather drastically affect the polling? KT is an urban constituency and not Sarawak and Sabah rural areas that are inaccessible and need special arrangements. Furthermore, voters don't give two hoots about rain. It rained in Permatang Pauh (PP) during the polling day and the turnout was impressive. This was purposely done to give Umno enough time to finish all the devious and nefarious plans it has so that by the time voters go to the polls, Umno has finished its dirty job.

The EC has got a new chairman. The Home Ministry secretary-general Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof, 58, has been appointed chairman of the Election Commission (EC) effective this Dec 31. The man who was in charge of Umnoputra jails, ISA implementation and the deleting of Mongolia immigration records is the one who is in charge of our elections. God the Almighty! Popular blogger artist Mob's Crib gave outgoing EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman the 2007 Bullshitter of the Year Award. Mr Rashid is known as Mr Shit in the blogsphere. I wonder what kind of an award will Mr. Abdul Aziz Mohd Yuof, Mongolia eraser, be given?

But the criminal mindedness of the Umno owned EC is seen in its appointment of Umno Kuala Terengganu Mayor Datuk Razali Kassim. Now, where on earth did you see an election administered by one of the protagonists? How on earth can the Umno Mayor be the returning officer? By what law? By what justice? This is intended to give Umno the upperhand and also make sure Umno uses all available spaces in the whole of Kuala Terengganu city while the Umno Mayor/cum election officer (huh) "closes" one eye. Pakatan leaders, MPs, ADUNs and supporters need to protest against this criminal behaviour of the EC.

The KT seat has 1,035 postal votes. Of course we know what postal votes mean in Malaysia. So, the PAS/Pakatan candidate starts the race with this disadvantage. Therefore, we need a total rout for us to bury the Umno candidate and we will insya Allah. I want to tell the non-Malay Pakatan supporters to leave the Malay vote to us and we will compare the notes with Umno and you will see how we would give them a bloody nose. But I want them to promise us to deliver the Chinese vote. Everyone knows PAS/Pakatan offers better deals to the Malays, Chinese and Indians be it in Kelantan, Perak or Selangor. So, we can't accept that the Chinese are humiliated and every Umno leader who wants to climb up the ladder tramples upon them yet they vote for Umno like they did in KT on March.

The outcome will be decided by the Chinese voters and Malaysia Castrated Association (MCA) will be coming to talk of "BN spirit" and how Utar college was built as if the Chinese eat Utar and BN spirit. Therefore, we want every Chinese to vote for the PAS candidate. PAS's two probable candidates are honest leaders and inclusive Malaysians who have been truthful with the humane ideals they cherish unlike the Umnoputras who go to Parliament due to Chinese votes and turn around to humiliate them. Do you know Mukhriz Mahathir was beaten by the PAS candidate in Jerlun for the Malay vote but the Chinese in Jerlun saved him? Remember Mahathir and his wife going round Jerlun begging the "good" Chinese voters and when the Chinese trusted them and voted for them, what did they do? Mahathir went around saying the "evil" Chinese are a threat to the Malays. Of course Umno's strangulation of Terengganu, looting its resources, taking 50 years to build a small University and many other failures don't matter. His son who survived due to Chinese votes now says the Chinese should stop speaking in Chinese. May be he wants them to switch to Malayalam.

Umno avoided the Kulim by-election by forcing its candidate to withdraw his petition having promised him a senatorship, but God intervened by occasioning this by-election so that we compare the notes with Umno. Umno was shocked that its trade of anal politics and disgusting culture couldn't make the Malays stand with it, so they forced the Kulim petitioner to withdraw it having learnt its fortunes were dwindling after the Permatang Pauh rout. PAS has ample weapons for the KT by-election and the dedicated brigade of PKR and DAP supporters will be there top help us. We will deliver the seat to you dear Malaysians as a gift. For the rest, support us through phone calls, convincing your friends and arranging for the transportation of your friends who may be voters whereverer you can. We are dealing with a desperate but a powerful enemy in retreat, so some nefarious plans are afoot and we need to be ready for any eventuality.

The Umno people will be led by Mr. bin Scandal and other tainted "leaders" and if they can trade in human anguish by blowing up women, you don't expect them to have any moarlity in dealing with us. That's why they took 2 months to conduct this by-election and appointed Mongolia records eraser as the EC chairman and further appointed Umno KT Mayor as the Returning officer. They have already declared war and this by-election would be worse than PP. Because Mr bin. Scandal and Mahathir's future depend on it. Remember their argument has been once Abdullah Badawi leaves Umno and hands power to Mr. bin. Scandal, everything will be Happily Ever After. Can you imagine Mr. bin Scandal given another middle finger after his anal politics was humiliated at Permatang Pauh? I hate to remember seeing him talk to the press when he was badly defeated and his stinking politics buried in PP. You could think he lost a 5 generation family in a plane crash. Yahoo! It is in the strategic interests of Abdullah Badawi and his supporters including Idris Jusoh to sabotage Mr. bin Scandal and his criminal brigade by handing the seat to PAS with a 10,000 majority, after all, with or without him, we would carry the seat insya Allah. Finally, your support is needed in whatever form you can help because your future and Malaysia's future is at stake. For the Chinese, we hope you won't be deceived  with handouts and sweet talk. Once bitten twice shy. If you dare vote for Umno however much Umno slaves like MCA and others try to persuade you, then we the Malays in Pakatan (PAS/PKR) won't give two hoots if Umno spits on you and robs you of everything, after all, the Kiswahili people Msiba wa kujitakia hauna “pole”. (A self inflicted pain doesn’t grant you “sorry”). Do you expect us to say sorry for what Umno does to you when you vote for them and choose humiliation as a reward? You have a better choice and give your 8,000 votes to PAS."

UMNO is a dead horse! its intellectually bankrupt! There is no more Integrity left except for divisive politics as the bogeyman. The time in the Net age they have miscalculated it will hit them hard. The days when any religious Council playing in the WWW is a dead rat, is over. Period!

Sodomy, sex and the single man episodes with ones like Uncle Pet, are they the only characters UNMO can prove their mettle with the Malaysian echelons of ruling? A total Shame! The embarrassment is not only to the people but to the RULERS! Malaysia is not an entity they can take lightly anymore! Kelantan and Trengganu are not what they used to term as ULU. UMNO will face the wrath this time around! They can "wag the dog" with new episodes of sodomy, watching their own back this time!

Our PM in-waiting and the first lady in-waiting are very panicky. They know too well that PAS is strong and powerful, with the backing of DAP and Keadilan, the impending war is going to be dramatic and downright dirty!

Ahmad K.,

Thanks for shedding some lights on the impending schemes that UMNO will use to cheat in the election. I am very sure that they will use every dirty tricks in their book to win. One of them will be to scare the Chinese that PAS will implement hudud laws if they win. Hence, it is up to us to counter this misconception. I believe PAS can equal UMNNO in terms of Malay support. Hence, it is down to the 11% Chinese notes that will make the difference. The Chinese needs to know that 4D outlets and alchohol will not be banned even if PAS takes over. But even if those items are banned, what's so bad about it compared to having your hard earned tax dollars going to the commission and contracts of UMNOputras?

The Rakyat need to rig out remote cameras throughout the polling booths and do a "Live From Ground Zero" a la Anil Netto reporting to keep the whole nation abreast with the antics of EC and its stooges. Surely they'll have to reign in the more blatant of their strategies that they have employed in the past with impunity? We'll be able to see for ourselves why buses get burnt and who are the people in them..........

Not at all surprising. You ain't see anything yet what UMNO is capable of come nomination and polling days. Consider the rakyat lucky they did not have the 2/3rd majority or they may pass new legislation in Parliament to dispense with any need for a by-election at all.

Voters of Kuala Trengganu,
You decide your own fate. Look around you with a clear vision. Umno and its lap dog MCA has let you down big time. To our Chinese brothers, remember that MCA are only slaves to the Umnoputras and will sell their souls to get into the good books of their warlords. Do not listen to their propaganda about the PAS candidate. In short, just vote for the opposition regardless of whether it is PAS, PKR or DAP. This has come down to kicking those BN slimeballs asses, BIG TIME. Your victory will have a tremendous impact in the next general elections. Show the way, PLEASE.

Najib brags about BN/Umno winning in K.Terengganu because the EC just like the Police is a tool of UMNO. You can bet the election is going to be rigged. Najib must remember though that unlike during the GE, there was no Pakatan Rakyat. Today PR has made PAS, DAP and PKR a Band of Brothers. We all saw what this unity did in Permatang Pauh. MCA can forget about delivering the Chinese votes for Umno coz DAP has kautim that for PAS and Pakatan Rakyat!...More http://*********.********.com

Vote for the best best candidate and party!

Chinese should drive to KT with the PAS logo on their cars!

I will do that on my next vacation!

That was also the speculation in the Permatang Pauh by-election but still Anwar won handsomely.
This is not to say the rakyat should let down their guard.
I think there's no doubt UMNO will throw all the weapons in their arsenal to keep the Kuala Terengganu seat.
Too much is at stake especially the DPM's prestige.
Let's hope PR will be more than a match for UMNO.

The Chinese in KT should be made aware that the opposition can also rule the states (states under the opposition esp. Penang) and country (God willing) at par and if not better (Penang as role model) than BeeEnd. The Chinese in KT must realise that the best coalition at present (multi-racial and non-racist) is PR. Ahmad K, The Chinese are kafirs, we do not have the gods on our side. Even people like you with special links to the gods cannot sort out who is better amongst yourselves.
=======================

Just recently enlighted from a friend of mine. EVERYONE IS KAFIR. Depending on from which side of religion you look at it from. Kafir is an Arabic/Semitic word and is not particularly owned by any religion.

Remember 'Allah' in Sabah?

Kafir = Noun. The person who covers something. Could be covering an object. If referred to religion, means denying the 'truth' which is shared to him. In other words, Kafir = non-believer.

It is from the verb = kafara (to cover).

Hence, to an Christian Arab point of view (yes, they speak Arabic too), all non-Christians are kafir.

To a Muslim Arab point of view (yes, they speak Arabic of course), all non-Muslim are kafir.

The word kafir is not offensive of derogatory at all. Ask all our powers be how it become so offensive to other races.

End of the day, ain't it correct that everyone is a kafir? smilies/grin.gif

I had a big shock amongst all the sharings shared. And this is from the mouth of a practising Muslim from Arab Saudi. He said he is shocked with our practise over here as well. As if it we're in a time-warp of 700 years ago, all taken and follow direct by the book. As shared by the Yemeni traders since by Parameswaran days.

Maybe some Muslim scholars could enlighten.

Very interesting discourse indeed. And munafiq could only be used upon people who have backslided against a religion which he professes.
