When they are bankrupt of ideas on how to sort out issues, they use threats!

Get real, threats never work in the long run. You can only be bankrupt of ideas if you do not sincerely subscribe to or believe in the issues on hand - therefore, if you lacked belief, you would most certainly lack interest and if you do not have interest, you would never be adequate in any undertakings that relates to those issues on hand.

So, get off your butts and work towards the betterment of the rakyat so that there would be no necessity for such strikes. Threats and excuses are for those who are inadequate and insincere in working towards an acceptable solution.

I would say PKR is on the right path. We should make the 'nelayans' and 'petanis' realised that what they have been getting are actually peanuts. The government payment of RM 200 is a joke. What can a person do with RM 200 at the present. Prices of goods have sky rocket and there is no indication that it will go down. The 'nelayans' and 'petanis' should now be informed by PR as they do not have access to 'correct' global situation as they have been 'brainwashed' by the government controlled media.

Why is the govt always threatening and warning? Why can't they just listen and engage the rakyat in solving their grouses? You are who you are, i.e. the govt., because we, the rakyat make you so. You are who you are because the rakyat let you be so. We can take that away from you just as we can give you the positions. So, talk NICELY to the rakyat, otherwise, take a hike come the next General Election. When someone has to resort to threats, that someone is nothing but a small person.

Aku tak tau apa masalah sebenar yang dihadapi nelayan. Tapi kalau kerajaan dah bertahun-tahun 'berusaha' membangunkan industri perikanan negara pun tak berjaya, aku rasa dah sampai masanya untuk biar orang lain pulak cuba menjayakannya.

Pelik. Sungguh pelik. Sebelum pilihan raya, rakyat adalah 'bos'. Tapi selepas pilihan raya, dia pulak lagak 'bossy'. Main ugut lagi tu!

Penindas? Lintah? Jangan ikut sedap mulut aje, ayuh turun ke padang dan lihat keadaan hidup nelayan sebenar!

This is the story of Amno, Nelayan, Petani and Pendatang. Pendatang has nothing from the beginning, but he works hard, learn the skill and knowhow to trade. Then Pendatang lives a thrifty life and save enough money to buy some land and build factory to do more business and earn more money. Nelayan is working very hard to fish everyday support his family. Also Petani is working very hard to grow his crop to make a living for his family. But the nature of the occupation of Nelayan and Petani seldom bring big income to them and this phenomenon can be found every where in the world. Amno is of the same clan as Nelayan and Petani. Amno is a politician and works in the government. Amno feels jealous that Pendatang has become wealthy and owned a lot of asset. Amno calls Nelayan and Petani to his office and tells them that they have to support Amno so that Amno can protect their "wealth" in this country because Amno, Nelayan and Petani are the "Prince of the Land" or POL. Amno then asks Nelayan and Petani to go with him together to protest to Pendatand that they are the POL and they are more supreme in this country. Therefore, Amno want to have discriminitive policies in the country to suppress Pendatang in the name of protecting the right and priviledge of Nelayan and Petani. Nelayan and Petani feel very happy about such discriminitive policies and shout out loud to give support to Amno. There is not much Pendatang can do against such ridiculous policies except working harder than before and try to make more money and save up for whatever eventuality in this hopeless country. Having been able to force the discriminitive policies in the country, now Amno tells Nelayan and Petani that their "wealth" will be protected by Amno. Nelayan and Petani feel very happy and take the bus home so that Nelayan will again work very hard to fish for a living and Petani will go back to work very hard at his farm to grow his crop to make his living. With the discrimintive policies that cannot be questioned put in place, Amno now can manipulate the taxpayers' money, of which quite a lot comes from Pendatang, into schemes which will make Amno and his cronies very wealthy. One day, Pendatang canoot stand such apartheid rule anymore and tell Amno to be more fair. Amno gets angry and call Nelayan and Petani to take a bus to come to his office. Amno then asks Nelayan and Petani to accompany him to go to see Pendatang and demand Pendatang to apologise for questioning the discriminitive policies. Three of them make so much noise that Pendatang gives up and go away. Having made enough noise to achieve his objective, Amno again send Nelayan and Petani to the bus station so that they can quickily go back to their home to workd very hard again for their living while Amno and his cronies can now continue to blunder the government's coffer. This is the story of the Bolehland and her POL.

It does not matter whether I agree with the mogok or not.

Hello, the money you are giving to the nelayan does not come solely from BN's pocket. It came from my pocket and the rakyat and so on. Please do not act like a hero.

They told me through the medai the price of gas dropped because demand dropped. They think we are dumb and will always agree. Unless the demands falled 50% that it doesn't correlate the falling price.

Politicians are just corrupt everywhere that is why you need independent bodies to check them. US and most mature democratic have them that is why they are not worried about demostrations or someone protesting. But, in Malaysia they are worried that truth will make it to rakyat that is why they are so worried. That is why the media is under strict control and so does the biggest BN security force. Our PDRM doesn't deserve that name... until they do than maybe they can have their name back.

I am totally out of topic but MT should raise this issue.

I was reading the paper this morning and noticed another stabbing murder in Johor and a Sri Lankan student in Malaysia slashed to death. It seems that everyday there is a report of murder in Malaysia. What the heck is PDRM doing? PDRM keep on saying that the crime rate is still low in Malaysia because they make comparison with countries with very high crimes. Why not make comparison that has a very low crime rate. PDRM should not start making excuses and be more proactive. While walking around Bukit Bintang I hardly see policemen on beat duty. They prefer to stay in their 'pondoks' that is airconditioned.

And still out of topic (got this from CNN):

Indian minister resigns over Mumbai attacks
India's Home Minister Shivraj Patil submitted his resignation Sunday as the country investigated alleged Pakistani ties to the terrorist attacks that killed 183 people in Mumbai.

Do you think this will happen in Malaysia? No way, not when UMNO is still in power.

Merekalah perompak negara.
