Yes we can. this is god's will, ini takdir, ini Allah yang mahu pilihan raya kecil Kuala Trengganu, untuk mengingatkan, reformasi. kita boleh tukar. Yes we can, USA pun sudah tukar kerajaan, yang penting, kita semus rakyat united dan bersatu padu, untuk pilih kerajaan baru, RPK, PKR< DSAI.
yes we can, we must have new gov soon. BN Umno too corrupt to continue, they are arrogant and greedy, we need new gov. Yes we can. Kita semua ada kerajaan baru. THis is god's will. Allah mahu kerajaan baru. or else, why the young MP can die suddenly, while we are sad, we also welcome the god's will to have a new election, to have new MP from the PKR,
we must united to have a new opposition that win the Kuala Trengganu seat.

Let us be sensible. We know PAS is ridden with factions. We have the 'ulamak' faction and the 'progressives'. Hadi Awang is dead against the progressive faction gaining a foothold in Terengganu.

Given that Mat Sabu lost the seat by a mere whisker in the March election, he stands a very good chance this time. Mat Sabu represents the humane and logical face of PAS. He is a self declared 'liberal' who is deeply religious but yet open to new ideas, colloboration with non- Muslims and even acknowleging that Muslims too can learn alot from the practise of other cultures and religions as they often seem to follow the path laid out by Allah more so than many Muslims.

He may only be an ITM graduate but he certainly does have a sophisticated intellect despite he folksy and simpleton demeanour. Furthermore he has wit and supreme oratorical skills.

He is clearly a threat to the backward looking and racist 'ulamak' wing who will do deals with UMNO at a drop of a hat if the opportunity arises. Mat Sabu is a man of integrity and humanity who will be a cohesive force if Pakatan is to become a reality. The 'ulamak' faction of PAS has to be edged out for the sake of Malaysia and a viable Pakatan.

Mat Sabu is the 'acceptable face' of PAS as far as DAP is concerned and he does enjoy a close relationship with Guan Eng and Karpal Singh. He is also amongst the PKR leaders. It seems to be that is a no brainer that Mat Sabu should be the candidate for the Kuala Terengganu seat.

The idea that PKR should be offered the seat is the height of stupidity and a desperate ploy by the 'Hadi' faction to sideline Sabu even though he is one of their own.

Please remember that Mat Sabu was one of the key figures in the formation of Bersih. He will be a force to be reckoned with in Parliament and will make UMNO decidedly uneasy.

Putting a pkr candidate in KT will only demonstrate 2 things:-
1 - How selfish pkr is
2 - pr have stupid analysts

There is no way a pkr candidate can win in KT. Look at Dungun, look at Kemaman.....
Since when does Terengganu have a pkr base support? Even if you change the name KT to Permatang Pauh II tomorrow, pkr will still lose!
If winning is what pr want, then, only PAS stand any chance of wrestling KT from UMNO...even if PAS lost, at least the people of Terenggau will have the chance to see their MB showing his 'gedebeness' a la pasar kedai payang once again, no more can he play 'nice-nice' with PAS...Against pkr? he's laughing all the way now........

Who really is the writer of the above article ?
What is his motive ?

This is a PAS seat and PAS should be allowed to recontest it.

It is a PAS seat and must be contested by a strong PAS candidate as UMNO will pump in millions to win the seat. If PKR contests the seat, the conservative group in PAS will sabotage his chances of victory. Can anyone trusts Mustapha Ali?

PAS stronghold, must be PAS candidate - don't play with logic!

Never go against the odds because the chances of winning will disappear if the players take unnecessary risks in order to satisfy personal gratification.

The only question is whether PAS will field a candidate acceptable to all. PAS must bite the bullet and contain their disruptive and opportunistic elements/faction within the party and vote for certainty and progress if they do not want to be left behind when things starts moving!

PAS cannot allow certain elements to continue to poison and weaken the great party. Failure to take firm actions will definitely result in the downward slide of PAS as a political force.

Choose well. Not emotively and with religion in mind but for the sake of the country...and with Kuala Terengganu in mind. Progress is important and political maturity. Whether PAS or PKR, choose well. Reformasi and the good of Malaysia!!! smilies/smiley.gif
