Eight months have passed since the euphoria and excitement that gripped millions of voters when the ‘political tsunami’ swept three opposition parties into power in five states and 10 of the 11 federal seats in Kuala Lumpur.

Some called it the tipping point or ‘perfect storm’ in our electoral history, but the probable emergence of a two-party system has been held back by Pakatan Rakyat’s failure to grab the federal government from Barisan Nasional on September 16, as it claimed it would.

Amidst ebbing exuberance and cautious optimism, Pakatan’s major partner PKR will hold its annual congress this weekend at Stadium Melawati in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Changing political circumstances will prompt Pakatan to go through soul searching, perhaps requiring it to re-evaluate its performance and re-formulating its prospects.

It's not an easy job to change policies that BN set for 50 years! All government staffs are with BN washed up brains! Even many PKR and PAS people are with UMNOs washed up brains! You want a change? Take a group of fresh graduate to form a new party and elect the best as PM! But I don't think that will ever happen in the near future! Elect Lim Guan Eng as PM? Will PAS/PKR/KINGs agree? Elect a PAS leader? Who? Hadi? Nik? Still die! Anwar is the only choice for the next PM! Change all idiotic policies then we'll be heading for a better future!

About time that the 5 states of PR come together and map out their priorities of governance. As it stands, each state is going its own way to run its own affairs.
A declaration of cohesion and strategies are needed so that the people will know what the alternative gomen can do or will do whwn it comes to power.
The process of governance and change must be seen to be trusted.

I also agreed with seriously comments... it not that easy to change what has been entrenched for years by umno and its servants... it in fact will take sometime to change every single thing done by the umno if once PR takes over!
