The economic gaps exist between the poor and the rich, not between ethnic groups, and the policies should deal with this but instead it seeks to deal with this on a racial basis which in itself is neither Just nor Fair ! And of course the main benefits go to the elite few who hold the reins of power !

The bumis are exploited so that these elite few stay in power, and these bumis are now waking up to this fact, which is why we had the tsunami on March 8th 2008, and a further confirmation during the Permatang Pauh by-election.

You are a shame to the country when you distort the facts to suit your jaundiced views of Malaysia and the world ! You are the one who should look into the mirror all day and see if the image of the IBLIS grins back at you !

Boy! A week ago, many of us were literally holding our breath while praying as we awaited the High Court's decision on YM RPK's H/Corpus hearing.

I remember Puan Marina and her Daughters looking quite tensed that morning as I approached her to say, "Ma'am, you have done everything possible and we have been praying every of our waking hours for his release(My Comments on 4th Novenber refers). There should an intervention of some kind from above."

That was easily said. As the Proverb goes "Berat Mata Memandang, Berat Lagi Bahu Yang Memikul"

But, by The Almighty Illahi's intervention(I humbly would like to believe), when YM RPK's release was pronounced, we the attendees could not resist from clapping.

Of course, The Honourable Learned Judge "chastised" and reminded us that it is a court of law. We could see from his facial expression that he was not that angry in that sense. He probably knew that if he does not do so, we probably would have give him and his court a standing ovation that would have been deafening by any standards. Not only that, each of us were so moved that we would have not have hesitated to kiss his hands in a orderly queue. Boy!!! Tears of joy flowed freely that glorius Friday morning with some sobbing without an iota of care.

Well, having said that, that Syed Hamid has appealled. Let him. He does not realise that he is trying his luck against The Illahi and that too, trying to stretch things a wee bit too far, Folks, don't you think?

You kata kat negara ini mesti ada polisi kerana jurang perbezaan antara orang cina dan orang melayu wujud. Adakah statement anda bermaksud semua orang cina kaya dan semua orang melayu miskin?

Hakikatnya, ada orang melayu yang sangat kaya raya dan ada orang cina yang sangat miskin seperti keluarga saya semasa saya masih kecik. Masa itu pendapatan bapa saya hanya RM 300 satu bulan. Apabila saya cuba dapatkan bantuan makanan kat sekolah, guru saya memperketawakan saya kerana dia tak believe ada orang cina begitu miskin.

Akhirnya, saya tak dapat apa-apa. Tiada siapa pernah bantu saya.

Kesimpulannya, kemiskinan tak mengenal warna kulit. Satu dasar baru harus dibentuk untuk membantu semua yang miskin dan bukannya mengikut warna kulit.

Cuba imagine, seorang taukeh melayu beli rumah banglo yang berharga RM 1 juta dan dia menikmati bumiputera diskaun 7%. Adakah dia layak? 7% itu sepatutnya diberi kepada orang lain yang miskin

Imagine if you are told that just because of the colour or your skin, you are not a real citizen, in fact you are a squatter and an immigrant passing through on the way to somewhere else. You'd feel like shit too, wouldn't you. Don't assume that people are upset for no reason. These and other provocative actions by politicians from the ruling party, using the people and the situation like pawns in their dirty games without a care for their well being, have caused a great deal of uneasiness among minorities in Malaysia. Don't accuse or question their loyalty. You might not agree but you must open your eyes and try to understand why they feel this way, they are loyal to Malaysia not the BN and UMNO.

this doesnt make any sense..why do bumiputera's get a 7% discount?everything should be equal here.if not for the chinese and indians..malays and the economy of this country will be doomed and the malays are nowhere..
we chinese and indians end up paying more tax and all our hard earn money goes to houses and properties which cost more.
this is really unfair..malays get discounts for everything and all the attention.

The vast majority of Chinese businessmen have neither the capacity nor the necessary political connection to bribe UMNO leaders. Many of them are barely surviving and they manage to survive by being thrifty and hardworking. Chinese businessmen with political connection are few and far between. Besides, many mega government contracts (e.g. purchase of defence equipment) don't even involve local Chinese businessmen.

In some area, the discount rate is 15%. That means if the same millionaire buy a bungalow worth RM1 million he only needs to pay RM850,000. With the discounted money (RM150,000) he can buy another house worth RM150,000 with only need to pay RM127,500 (RM150,000 - 15% = RM127,500)

Itulah dengan prejudis rakyat Malaysia. Dengar sahaja orang Cina, di kepala otak mereka pun terbayang kocek mereka penuh dengan wang, kaya dan macam-macam lagi yang sudah disinonimkan dengan orang Cina yang kebanyakan menggambarkan kerakusan dan tidak beradab orang Cina, dituduh beri rasuah dan macam-macam. Begitu jugalah bila disebut sahaja orang Melayu, mestinya semua yang miskin dan serba kedaifan dan orang India pula dengan putar belitnya dan hinaan2 yang mengaibkan. Sudah jadi macam suatu yang stereotaip rakyat Malaysia digambarkan sedemikian rupa oleh rakyat Malaysia sendiri. Rasanya ini berlaku kerana dasar-dasar negara itu sendiri yang menguatkan gambaran ini. Sebut saja NEP, gambarannya orang Melayu semua miskin, mesti ditolong semuanya, orang Cina kaya raya semuanya , tak perlu ditolong, mangsanya orang India terpinggir. Itulah sebab mereka berhindraf, mana boleh salah mereka. Orang Melayu yang kaya raya pun masih mau dapat bantuan dan yang betul-betul miskin dan tak ada pengaruh menjadi makin miskin. Orang Cina yang sebenarnya bukanlah kaya mana tetapi disangkakan kaya tidak dipatutkan dapat bantuan kerana sudah disangkakan kaya, melepaskanlah untuk dapat bantuan walau pun miskin mana pun, maka terpaksalah bekerja sangat kuat untuk dapat sedikit wang untuk menikmati keseronokan hidup tapi disangka pula sudah kaya maka memang tak patut dapat bantuan.Yang teruknya mereka dikenakan berbagai tekanan peraturan dan undang-undang kononnya peraturan negara yang entah betulke atau tak wujud, tapi kerana tak mau susah-susah dengan pihak penguatkuasa ini maka diberi kata dua untuk selesaikanya, tapi digambarkan pula sebagai penyogok yang melahirkan korupsi, tapi bagaimana mereka terpaksa menyogok kerana tekanan penguatkuasa yang sengaja mau membuat susah kepada mereka yang memaksa mereka menyogok. Orang Melayu yang sudah dapat bantuan dan dah kaya dan hidup bergaya dengan berbagai kenikmatan hidup mcm orang kaya di Hollywood buat gaya orang miskin untuk terus dapat bantuan, tapi yang kasihannya ialah mangsanya orang Melayu yang benar-benar miskin, orang India yang terpinggir tak habis, maka memanglah mereka nak berhindraf. Jadi siapakah yang kata ini suatu yang adil? Yang dapat habuan dan bantuan tak habis-habis dan diberi layanan istimewa memanglah kata ini adil dan tuduh yang bising-bising kata tak adil sebagai pengkhianat negara. Tapi yang indahnya ialah ada di antara kita ini yang mempunyai naluri sebagai manusia-manusia budiman yang berjuang demi keindahan dan kesempurnaan manusia itu sendiri tanpa melihat kepada latar belakangnya sendiri dan orang lain. Itulah orang-orang yang menghayati ajaran agama yang berbagai itu yang kesemua mengajar kepada kesempurnaan manusia dan ini diketahui dan sentiasa disebut termasuk mereka yang durjana tapi bertindak sebaliknya.

How about you, Dragonheart taking a "melawat sambil belajar" trip into the rural Malay kampungs, the rubber estates and the Chinese new villages to really gauge their economic level and then to compare them with some of the Umnoputras. You'll be blind not to see the vast differences. And that's about 50 years of economic stabilizing policies.
We are only looking at West Malaysia but the situation in some parts of Sabah & Sarawak would even be more pathetic.

Dragonheart, the minorities in Malaysia ARE treated differently. If it is black, you have to say it is black. Objectively, do look back and watch how badly the police have roughed up the people in the past events. Can you please tell me the main race that has been treated badly? That is just an example.
As for Ahmadneil, am I right that you are upset with him becos you think that he is Malay and that he is a traitor to his race - does not matter whether he is telling the truth? That is not an objective way of arguing, it is going along the racial line. Are you 100% sure he is Malay? He could be Neil A.H. Mad for all you know - wink, wink!
