MALAYSIAKINI

Beliau bagaimanapun berkata, bekas-bekas hakim itu tetap menerima pencen atas dasar ihsan, termasuk bekas Ketua Hakim Negara Tun Salleh Abas, demikian menurut laporan Bernama.

What you guys expect from Nazri's mouth? The Amazon cat fish's mouth too big and cannot be trusted. Nazri, you are really diplomatic by using soft word (retire) to cut off by slices of rakyat's feelings.

Malaysia is never short of able people to take over as finance minister. Why on earth should we put up with some ignorant (bodoh sombong) to be in charge of the country's coffer???

An insane and stupid choice of our PM to place rakyat's future in somebody's hand who knows next to nothing about finance and economy other to drain away malaysia'revenue at his whims and fancies to satisfy his lust for squandering people's money...

Hey, people, KICK HIM OUT RIGHT AWAY BEFORE WE ARE ALL DOOMED BY HIS ACTION 1!!

Now, which one is which? The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department said it loud and clear - the judges were NOT sacked and they were paid their pensions. The Former LEADER of our country said they were sacked but given exgratia. So which side is spilling the accurate explanations? If they were really sacked, WHY were they eligible for pensions as explained by Nazri?http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/11/7/nation/2481947&sec=nation

Dr M is stating what was facts during his time.
He still has not the decency to own up to his mistakes of destroying the independence of our judiciary.
Badawi's admin will prefer to state that sad episode in a kinder tone.
Well, that, at least is my spin for the conflicting statements.
Whatever, those 5 brave judges had been wronged, and for at least going some way to remedy the wrong done to them, Zaid must be commended although it was the cabinet that authorised the ex-gratia payment.
