Dear Pete, I'm writing this to you today as a True Malaysian. I salute you, for your bravery, and your endless efforts in upholding Justice and Truth. Not forgetting, Opposing Evil as well.
For your information, I'm an 18 year old Malaysian teenage boy who has got lots to learn. Though I'm young and might not know as much as you do, stories that I hear everyday about the 'people in higher society', you know, those 'leaders' are inevitable. I picked up some information from the elders, and it sparked my curiosity. Anyway, basics such as racisism and corruption are sometimes too obvious in our country; even kids under 6 years old of age know what those mean. This is serious. Your blog, the MT, provides additional information (perhaps genuine info) that are not available anywhere else. It's quite different from what's written in the Sejarah textbooks that I've studied, and also the newspapers. Hmmmm I wonder why (hahaha!). One of the best example is the May 13 story, I really thought 'that person' deserves the title 'father of unity', or 'bapa perpaduan'. Until I browsed through your blog, it changed the way I look at some things, forever (including Islam). IT TAUGHT ME LOTS OF STUFF! and it opened up my eyes. Enough said. No one really had the guts to stand up and fight against injustice, it takes Balls of Steel, and only a noble man could do it. You, Sir RPK, risked your freedom for the rakyat, for justice, for democracy and also for your religion! I seriously respect and admire you a lot. At such an age you could be lying down comfortably on the lazy chair everyday and enjoy every single moment with your family, but you didn't. You chose the road not taken, less travelled by most people. What did you get from doing all these? Money? Power? NO! WHAT YOU DID WAS PURELY LOVE! L- Lots O- of V- Voluntary E- Effort ps- I was happy that I shook your hand in court! HAHA! Alright I've got a message for the uncles and aunties who are reading this blog right now! Listen up! YOU'VE GOT TO SUPPORT RPK! He has done so many things for us! YOU CAN DO SOMETHING TOO! Dont bullsh*t about being busy or afraid to get caught or even afraid to have your face appearing in blogs! See, I'm in college isn't it? I'm 18. Yea, guess what, I tried my best to make it to court as early as 8am, eagerly to get a seat, to show my support and to listen to the trial. I even had my 'I AM WITH RPK T-SHIRT ON' ! (I'm not bragging here) I've got exams coming and if I screw up, my scholarship is gone! But hey, I made it there anyway! I even made it to the Candle-light vigil in PJ! I stood alongside YB Gobind Singh, Marina Lee and fellow bloggers to chant and thrust my fist into the air, with a candle on the other hand! Even an 18 year old boy here could do it. So for those who are still sitting down and staring the computer screen, shame on you! - Luke

Luke, nice to have you around. Your article is definitely an inspiration and motivation for the rest of the young people. At such a tender age, you care to know what goes on in our country, and you are observant enough to notice the difference between the history text you read in school and the information you got from the mass Media.
Keep up with the good spirit, Luke..Take good care..
