Received a call from ASP Sydney of Dang Wangi Police Station. Apparently, he was looking for me & a few other Anti ISA Activists / Bloggers, whom went to Pak Lah's Hari Raya Open House to meet him.

As of now, those whom will be going to see him are A.S. Sidhu, Ashok Kandiah, Haris Ibrahim & I.

He requested our presence this coming Friday 10/10/08, 2.30pm @ the Dang Wangi Police station.

According to Ashok, it is not necessary for anyone to come to the police station in support, as ASP Sydney will just be taking a quick statement, before letting us go.

I had a quick conversation with ASP Sydney during our visit to Badawi's open house. He seemed like a nice guy - friendly, warm, matured & humorous.

Of course, I remember hearing about him in the past. Here is one incident, where I remember hearing his name.

Pl also tell him Surind that we are terribly concerned with so many rapists thiefs and gangsters marauding free as the law enforcers were busy stitching buttons for their lapels that we the rakyat have given up teaching the right things they should be chasing.

Surind,

Despite all the controvercy on your group presence in the Open House, I think it is honorable act to defend your fellow Malaysian RPK when he is down. My hat off. May you find the best wisdom to handle the situation.

As I told an independent news reporter yesterday, I am not so worried about us. I'm just worried about the beginning of a crackdown on HINDRAF.

It's not difficult to get the number of someone whom has been supporting & helping the opposition from last year - especially with the application for permits, dealing with special branch in PJ, etc. The SB here have my personal mobile no.

Cheers

Over what, may I ask?

For 'indecent' dressing? Next time, don't even bother to invite the rakyat to your open house if your police meant to harras those present whom they view as 'offensive'.

The police are really going overboard.

then the pm should not have open House during raya if he is such a chicken shit. want to invite guest and at the same time, wanna charge people for showing up.

is a good twist, then the rest of the invitees should be charged too, including your dear wife, pm.

either the police are so dumb or the person who instructs the police to do so.

ASP Sydney, i thought he is as smart as people living in Sydney. Never know...sigh

I would tread cautiously as the Malaysian Police act on instructions of politicians rather than on evidence. There is no such thing as an Honest Cop here. You are GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT and not innocent until proven guilty.
