KENYATAAN MEDIA OLEH Y.B. S. MANIKAVASAGAM, AHLI PARLIMEN KAPAR BERHUBUNG ISU PEROBOHAN KUIL PDF Print

OK Kapar you have made your stand, now flex the muscle in your brains to bring the culprits to accountability. Don't wait for others to do it for you. You have been empowered and have authority, don't chicken out and ask other to do your job for you.

If you resign because of infidelity like the mca guy or corruption like the recent councillor in Perak, we can understand but if you resign because you are waiting for others to do your job then you are just a wimp who complain but does nothing. Come on we voted you guys in, now let us see you perform as expected. Show some backbone and courage, speak to the MB and make things happen, don't wait.

Manika, Dont give ultimatum to Khalid Ibrahim, who is the Selangor boss. It is not appropriate..... sikit kurang ajar. Go and see him and the Selangor exco members and discuss this matter. By going to the press you are getting a bit of cheap publicity but in the long run damaging Pakatan Rakyat. The newspapers and govt TV have taken advantage of this situation to destroy Pakatan Rakyat.
Think again one hundred times and dont let nasi jadi bubur.

Ok, so this is a little clearer. But still I'm a bit blur. I thought you said you resigned with immediate effect. Now your statement said that you will melepaskan Jawatan Sebagai *Timbalan Pengerusi Perhubungan Negeri Selangor Parti Keadilan Rakyat *sekiranya tiada sebarang tindakan keras diambil ke atas pegawai-pegawai MPAJ yang dilatih oleh Kerajaan Barisan Nasional serta tidak professional dalam melakukan tugasan mereka.

Which is the correct version? Anyhow, at least now we know you are making your point, and not realigning yourself with those VULTURES from MIC. I am glad.

And YB, since you are demanding tindakan keras on the MPAJ, would you accept the position if MB Tan Sri appoint you to helm such a committee? Or would you want to continue to shout from a distance while hoping for others to do the job (of punishing the MPAJ officers concerned). I am just curious.

I thought your current position as the Deputy Liaison Chairman puts you in the best position to push, pull, prod and probe all the respective parties in order to solve the mistake/crime/whatever. I hope you are not shirking that responsibility or maybe you see it as a burden. Remember, you said it yourself : When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Stop and Think first, YB.

Cheers!

Under what Municipal Council regulations did MPAJ used to "telah mengeluarkan notis baru untuk merobohkan kuil-kuil di Ampang"? State Excos circulars ignored by MPAJ showed 'old BN staff' must be retired off & be replaced by new dedicated officers. Y.B. S. MANIKAVASAGAM's request to "menubuhkan suatu Jawatankuasa khas untuk menyiasat kejadian ini serta mengambil tindakan keras keatas mereka yang bertanggungjawab atas keingkaran mematuhi arahan Kerajaan Negeri" is a fair request. Dismissal procedures must be followed in details in this disciplinary proceeding by a special committee headed by the State Secretary. What has the State Secretary got to say on this dismissal issue ?

Yb should get himself appointed into this disciplinary committee. Private sector procedures to dismiss a staff differs greatly from the Government sector. The staff can sue if the State Government disregard proper procedures for dismissal. Refer to past cited cases as reference.

Not so fast.

This cannot be glossed over or overlooked without a reprimand on Khalid. What this issue needs is a visit by Khalid to the demolished temple premises and an assurance that such will not be repeated again Selangor.

The Ampang Municipal Council needs to be sacked in its entirety. We need to make this an issue! The Selangor govt needs to make a statement that all unregistered temples in Selangor will be allocated lands in the next month or two. There will be no change of federal govt until this issue is resolved satisfactorily!

Temenggong, glad to have you back. I guess withut RPK everyone else must pick up his burden. The anti ISA Vigil was superb, we must keep the momentum going. Like how Hindraf started their campaign from small ceramah nationwide and few Roadshows and the next stop from Putrajaya 3000 people to British Embassy 30000 people within 2 months. The Anti -Isa Team will grow in numbers if the Vigil is repeatedly done.

Dear Y.B. S. MANIKAVASAGAM

It is great that you want to stand up for your Indian community. However, let me ask you this question if the Majlis Perbandaran in your juridistion knock down a mosque or a chinese temple or a church would you threaten to resign as well. I hope you will do the same because the people that vote you in are color blind. They want you to represent them not base on the color of their skin and I notice a lot of Indians MP always threaten to resign over their community (Indians).

So, please cut the BS and serve the rakyat. I do not want to hear another PR threaten to RESIGN over the injustice to their race. YOU SHOLD BE COLOR BLIND BEFORE YOU CAN SERVE......

MP Kapar,

Don't learn to give ultimatum to your own colleagues when you're just fresh in politics. Discuss the matter first !!!!!

Or there's someone from MIC offering you a big position with many incentives.

What's your real objective really, Mr MP ???

Dear Y.B. S. MANIKAVASAGAM,
You seem to forget that you are no longer at the opposition for the state affair. I think we expect you to pick up your responsibility and run with it.
If you are to resign, then you resign for your failure to make changes; that failure is an embarassment. You cannot resign as a means for someone else to do the work -- because that "someone else" is you.

Manikavasagam is right in asking for a formal investigation into what happened.

If the demolition was done without proper authorisation from the state government then the idiots that did it should be sacked and nothing less.

Or the demolition was done with agreement or instruction of the state government, in which case the real story will be known to all.

Either way, the public get to the real idiots.

Mani - Kindly note that alot of times things do not happen as one wants BUT one should continue with the struggle.

You must be willing to use the whip rather then leaving it to someone else or at least a collective decision.

Just a reminder, it is nice of you to fight for the temples but please remember Malaysians voted for you so you should be blind to colour and help all deserving parties.

You are part of the team. Stop all this stupid/silly behaviour. Just go out there, see the right people and solve the problem/issue at hand. The state govt is not perfect, especially during periods like this, you can expect trouble, instigations, sabotage. Come on, show your maturity. Don't behave like MIC members. Don't be misled by Samy Velu, Khir Toyo and the like. Grow up or get out.

Aiyoh, not COMMITTEE again! Don't become copycats to BN.

Just SACKED THOSE involved from MPAJ. After all, new job will be created. (distribution of wealth, why NOT)

As for demolition of places of worship, it should apply to ALL regardless IF the structure is constructed ILLEGALLY or post DANGER to general public. I have come across temple, Latokong ( small chinese worship structure ) etc who are too close to road shoulder, around a sharp road corner ( sometimes due to road expansion), built on private Land etc. These structure should be demolish and relocated where possible.

Bodoh betul ini MP Ampang.

After going through some grand-standing he now backtrack and said he only resigned as member of Timbalan Pengerusi Perhubungan .....What had that position to do with the issue.

Think before you open your mouth otherwise you will find semi value's foot in it.

Bodoh betul MP ini.
