BUKIT MERTAJAM, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- The Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) claims that 944 names of voters have 'disappeared' from the electoral list for the Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency which had been updated up to July 2008.

The PKR deputy director of elections, Fuziah Salleh, said a letter of protest had been sent to the Election Commission.

"We find that 944 names of voters who are eligible to vote have disappeared whereas they had voted in the March election this year," she said at a press conference at the Yayasan Aman building in Kubang Semang, here Sunday.

Fuziah, who is also the Kuantan Member of Parliament, claimed that of the number, six had been identified to have moved and changed their addresses, 81 could not be traced and 868 had been omitted from the electoral roll.

The Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency has 58,459 registered voters.

Meanwhile, State EC Deputy Director Ilyani Farha Mohammad refused to comment on the allegation and said that the EC would hold a press conference tomorrow pertaining to the polling day on Tuesday.

Mr Ilyani, before it's too late do something right. Your masters may not be in power for much longer. Take an independent stance and be neutral. smilies/grin.gif

The EC is madeup of the same slimeballs and scumbags MFs. Only way to rid of them is to change the government. Regardless of the majority figures, Anwar will still take us to Putrajaya and send these bastards to hell, no matter how many times they swear on the holy book.

Please observe many loads of Bangladeshi, be careful of this trick again.

There are many dirty tricks will be played by UMNO and they are using our nation own money as their own pocket money.

Typical Bangsat Negara BN. Go to hell.

IF GOD MAKES A MISTAKE, WHO WILL PUNISH HIM? This is what Malaysia is facing today! The Anti Corruption Agency in Malaysia is corrupt to the core! The timing of the charges against exco members of Perak to appear as headlines in all the major local dailies on 26th. August is pre-planned to bury Anwar's political comeback!

Once Annuar becomes PM, the first thing he should do is institute a criminal investigation into the activities of EC Deputy Director Ilyani Farha Mohammad. They should look into his personal assets and assets of family members to see if there has been a sudden increase in income. It should include a search of his house/s. These people seem to think that they will hold their posts forever. If they know what is right, they should come CLEAN

Even before election day, the Election Commission has deleted the 900 over voters who are registered to vote. What sort of govt. is this? If you want to play foul, be more sophisticated than this. Please do not cheat the people of Permatang Pauh. We are also human beings and we have heads that are equally big to yours. We have hearts that are of your size too. We have feelings too. Please stop your offensive behaviour once and for all. Let this Permatang Pauh election be the last time that you play around with the electoral roll.

EC, please leave up to your name of being trully independent. Otherwise, you'll be answerable to our beloved King. It's not to difficult to pull an online petition to impeach you and declare the election null and void.

This is why the Election Commission need to be replace with a new Election Royal Commission to ensure democracy continue in Malaysia. We don't need an illegitimate government who pretend to have the mandate from the people but in reality won the election through dubious means. If we fail to ensure this, it will be a matter of time before our country join the rank of Zimbabwe.
